What do you think about KTR meeting YS Jagan and discussing on forming a coalition at the state and center?
A tricky situation is developing in Andhra Pradesh.After Chandra Babu Naidu taken U turn and came out of NDA on the issue of special status of Andhra Pradesh , he joined hands with Congress which has promised special status if comes to power.So what is Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s stand. He can not openly join hands with BJP, which is not in favor of special status to AP. So the only alternative for the Jagan is to join hands with KCR who is trying to organize 3rd. front.May be Akhislesh,Mayawati, Mamata Banerjee and Navin Patnaik join 3Rd. front. So jagan’s Idea being that if he somehow manage to get support of special status to AP from those leaders, he can face the electorate that he too is trying for special status.Of course, those leaders are supporting special status for AP. But can they promise that they support the claim, without demanding the same for their own states is a million dolor question.But Jagan has a reason to join the third front as mentioned above.No government could be formed at center without either BJP or congress is a known fact to every body. But if third front could get enough seats, it can pressurize the ruling party by giving support and claim their demands.Now, if that happens Pawan Kalyan has an advantage. First of all he will question the TDP joining hands with congress, which is the reason for bifurcation only for the purpose gaining Telangana Votes. And also he can demand to promise the third front leaders to support special status to AP, without demanding it to their own states. If every state asks for special status, then the purpose of special status is defeated. Thus he can create a doubt in AP people’ mind of both the fronts.But, Pawan Kalyan has no media of his own to spread the message. He has to organize the meetings in such a way that the message is spread to as many people as possible.So that is the reason for meeting between KTR and Jagan.Let us see what will happen.

I think that there are so many reasons why sociology as an area of study is important. I will give 4 reasons as to why you should consider studying sociology.Sociology helps you in gaining understanding of the the seemingly complex but simple nature of mankind. It also helps to understand how societies organize themselves in different circumstances. For instance, you would want to understand why Italy is dominated by Catholics while many Arab nations are Islamic states.A student or graduate of sociology has a lot of areas to apply the knowledge and skills acquired. It teaches students to understand people from different backgrounds. This improves your teamwork abilities. Lets assume that you did sociology of religion and you work in an company whose workers come from different religions, you will not take offense if they practice their religious beliefs even if they go against yours. Sociology will also help to understand different cultures. In return, you will easily practice cultural relativism with a lot of ease.Sociology is easy to integrate into other areas of studies. For instance, a student of sociology can easily do political sociology, cultural anthropology, Economics and so on.Lastly, sociology helps a graduate to fit into many sectors of the economy. Are all lawyers morally corrupt?
I am not sure about ‘all’ lawyers. But I have not, in all my life, found a single human being, whether lawyer, doctor, priest, bricklayer, judge, who was not, at some point in his life ‘morally corrupt’. A minor example: If a patient is dying, the doctor says to him, ‘take your medicine, go on. It will make you better’. Is that morally corrupt? A group of aggressive and angry men pursue a man, intent on killing a man. The victim rushes into your house. And pleads for his life. You hide him. And send the aggressors the other way. You lie. And you find that the man is a priest at a local parish. Are you morally corrupt because you lied? Change the scenario. The victim is a wanted paedophile. The pursuers were parents of a child. What then? Are you morally corrupt?We often judge other people without proper context. Or tar all the people of a group as being ‘all the same’. We do this every day. Place value judgements on everyone. All the time. I have seen convicted criminals behave with compassion. We have seen men of the cloth do horrible things. Sometimes questions like this give rise to more questions.
