What Does It Mean When Someone Is A Glutton For Punishment I Will Give The Best Answer A 10 Point

Does wanting to have two PhDs makes you look insane?

If money is not an issue, do whatever rocks your boat. If money is an issue, math is generally a better career option. Getting two PhDs would be a bad move financially. There are plenty of mathematicians who are also serious musicians, although they perhaps don’t have advanced degrees in music. At the undergraduate level, double majors in math and music are not unheard of.

As a software engineer will you ever work for a company, where you're told you'll never be promoted to a higher level?

As a software engineer will you ever work for a company, where you're told you'll never be promoted to a higher level?Absofriggenlutely. Not everyone is cut out to be a good manager. That is one of the reasons we have so many bad mangers, and some of them seem to be able to continue to fail upwards for some reason.I have tried management positions before. I failed spectacularly at it both times. I cannot juggle multiple things at once and keep my shit together (a form of Executive Function Disorder, I believe). I have made peace with this and acknowledge my limitations in that area.As such, I have zero desire to move upwards into a management/supervisory position. Lead dev? Sure. But anything more than that is a recipe for failure. I know this, I have seen me do it.Also, there is a naive belief that anyone can be trained to be a good manager. This is bullshit. If it were true, again, we would not have so many lousy managers out there. (Been there, tried that.)Fact is, not everyone is cut out to be a good manager, and these people need to be identified and kept in places where they will not be promoted, and minimize the potential damage they could cause.

Why dont i trust my boyfriend?

We all forgive the ones we love, rather we trust them or not. One lie leads to another and another. He broke the trust with you when he lied and you feel he continues to lie. I know how you feel same issue. Only now I don't love him anymore cause he's still lying. It's almost as if I can smell his lies all over him. It shows in his face and his voice. Men lie to hold on to what they have/want. Us women always think they'll change for us cause we love them. They don't change they just get slicker with it. I don't have sex with my bf anymore cause I don't trust him. It discusted me when I found out he cheated. In time I forgave him but I never forget. It feels like I have this shield up against him. I've even gotten good at ignoring him like men ignore us. It's fun to lol. It'll pass and you'll look back an ask yourself this question...'Why didn't I leave when I found out he was a lier and a cheat?'
You know my mother use to say "If you lie you steal, if you steal you'll kill". I found I have a lying, cheating thief. And just like you I thought it could work out. I'm leaving as soon as GOD gives me the path to go. That's my only trust. He's never failed me, unlike man GOD never fails.

What advice do you have for a seaman recruit who will volunteer for RCPO and RLPO in boot camp?

DON’T! Volunteer spirit is fine, but you’re part of a team there, and everything you do and everything you don’t do is part of that team effort. If they ask for volunteers and they make the determination that you’re best qualified, take it and do your best, but DO NOT be obviously enthusiastic about the thing. They’ll know it, they’ll smell it, and you’ll rue it.

Why does my mother hate me, but love my brother?

It could be that your mother is immature, may have been abused as a very young child, before age 4. These people have difficulty accepting that they like some aspects of a person, but don’t like other aspects of a person, they are close to. So in order to handle their ambivalence, they split their children into two camps: this son I love, this child I hate. It helps them handle life without falling apart emotionally. It is easier for them. How can you handle it? Bear in mind that your mother, when she is hating you, is only 3 years old on the inside. She’s not an adult mother, she is a 3-year-old child that has been abused.Find somebody else to give you mother-love. Your mother is unavailable. You need mother-love. She won’t give it to you. Find somebody else. There are many people out there that are longing to find someone to receive their love. Good luck.

When should I call my boyfriend "Love, Baby, or Honey"? We just started dating.

All depends on how you speak most of the time and context really.Calling someone "Love" when you've just started dating can be a very tricky thing. The guy might think you're reading or expecting a lot (too much?) too soon. But if you go around calling most people "Love" or are British where the term is used quite casually by some, then he probably won't think too much of it."Baby" sets off a few warning bells for me especially if a female uses it for a male. The term suggests you want to baby or (ironically) mother or take care of him. Could be a bit of a put-down or a turn-off in that sense. Also, just visualise yourself calling out and his reaction to you calling out "Baby" for your 250-pound boyfriend because you can't see his tattooed face and neck in that crowded area."Honey" is a sweet (no pun intended) term of endearment but more commonly used, if I'm not mistaken, but people in the Southern states of the USA? Not that there's anything wrong with that but I can only visualise Blanche Dubois or JR Ewing calling people "Honey" and getting away with it.Basically: Try out a term of endearment on him, when it's just the two of you if possible. If he winces or grimaces or downright cringes:try to laugh it off instead of getting embarrassedtry another term if you're a glutton for punishmentor ask him how he'd like to be referred as. If he tells you to call him by his name, think there's not much of a romantic future for the both of you.

Which show would you say is better Ranma 1\2 or Inuyasha?

Inuyasha. I always like the idea of deamons in an anime. Not that I didn't like Ranma either.

Why are Taurus men so confusing? BIPOLAR??? THEY CHASE AND THEN GO COLD WHAT'S WRONG WITH THEM?

Im not trying to be a jerk, or even start anything negitive but im a taurus and whenever someone asks me what my sign is and i tell them its taurus, they always say "oh lord!"what does that mean? but i can kinda answer this. I was talking to a woman for a while, about 5 months. She went to a bar one night where she hangs out with some friends and stuff. I left early to be with my set of friends and do what i do (no important). About an hour and a half goes by and she calls me drunk as hell! she said she needs a ride so i went back to the bar to get her. now when i get there she was surprised to see me, she was hanging on some dude and i got a lil pissed. I didn't make a sence, but i did say to her that she was out of pocket for even calling me. I told her that i was cool off of her and she said ok. a month goes by and i call her out of the blue and try to see how she has been. then i get called bi polar and crazy! I didn't have call at all!

For where i sit, i think that im just a normal guy. but i have feelings too. Im the kind of guy if i have any feelings for you what so ever, im going to be the best friend that you will ever have. but if you hurt me i'll cut you off like its not a problem. I'll admit that after a while even if i get taken advantage of I'll come back around but im not the one thats crazy!

If you are hinting about your boyfriend/husband behavior its because you might have made him mad about something. It could be as litlle as not getting the ice creame he wanted or as big as cheating on him. Just know that a taurus man, loves like no other, and hurts like no other too.
