What Does It Mean When The Bra Strap Around Your Ribs Is Getting Loose

Will my bra band and straps cause damage to my tattoo after it is healed?

In a month, I'm getting a tattoo of a Phoenix on my left shoulder/the upper left quadrant of my back. The artist is still working on the design, but I told him I'd like it a little on the long side and curled across my ribs. But I got to thinking, if my bra band and straps go over it, will they cause damage over the years? Or does it just become one with your skin once you're healed and not something to worry about?

Why does my bra fit loose ?

It has nothing to do with your straps. It's the band. Check what band size you are wearing (28, 30, 32, 34, etc). If it's so big that it's riding up over your breasts, you should go down a size or two. Probably two. If you're in a 34, try a 30 or 32.
The number represents the measurement of your ribcage just under the breasts, +0-3in. Every cup size represents an inch of difference between the band size and full bust measurement. A is 1in, B is 2in and so on.

When you move around band sizes, adjust the cup size accordingly. When you move down a band size, you have to go up a cup size. 34B, 32C, 30D are all about the same cup volume, but on different size torsos. When the torso gets bigger, the breasts will be smaller in comparison and vice versa. It's all relative.

Hope this is helpful. :}

Can i wear a bra after getting a rib tattoo?

I am getting a new tattoo this weekend on the left side of my ribcage and trying to figure out if wearing a bra will damage it or bother it. Its winter and i live in Canada so clearly it will be hard to go braless.

How does bra sizing work? If I wear a 34 C right now, the band size is too tight but the cup size is perfect. What size should I try?

Basically, the bra sizing involves two key things. One is the band size and other is the cup size. Band size is nothing but the the measurement about your rib cage right under the bust. Cup size is the bust size which is the measure over your bust. The number 34 denotes the band size and the letter ‘C’ denotes the cup size. Since the cup size in 34C fits perfect for you, you should probably try increasing the band size. 36A or 36B should fit you perfectly. The below chart is the arragement of band size and its corresponding cup size that will help you buy the right bra,If the above chart isn’t helping you find the fitting bra, try the sister sizes of 34C.36B and 38A are the sister sizes of 34C that are bigger in band size.Hope this information is helpful!

How do you wear a Bra witha rib cage tattoo?

Whatever you do DO NOT cover it with a paper towel! I'm sure your artist told you to undress it and clean a few hours after you got home....well he told you that for a reason. If you cover it with a paper towel the tattoo can not breathe and heal. I just got my ribs done a few months back and I wore a real soft sports bra but tried to keep the one side kinda rolled up so it didn't touch the tattoo and wore loose t shirts. A bra on it will rub and cause it to not heal properly and look bad you'll have to go back and get it touched up and that hurts worse than getting it done the first time! So just if at all possible do not wear a bra at all. Try to not let anything on it for about a week....its a pain I know but worth it to keep it looking good!

How can a woman tell whether the bra she is wearing fits her properly?

Three things to check:band: when hooked around your body, you should be able to snake the width of your finger underneath.  In other words, it should be tight, but not so tight it creates bulge around the band of the bracup: looking in the mirror, your boob should fit in the cup without squeezing out the top (which will create a "double boob" in a t-shirt) or leaving extra material (which will also look funny in a t-shirt)straps: shoulder straps should again be tight without digging into your skin, and not loose enough to fall down your shoulders.Overall, the idea is that you should feel supported without being uncomfortable. If you're unsure of your bra-size I recommend going to a department store and asking for help.EDIT: A few more tips that I always forget to follow:Bras wear out quickly. They stretch out within 3-6 months, I've found, rendering your former favorite bra ill-fitting and uncomfortable.Your breasts can change in size. As you gain and lose weight (even small increments) your breasts can grow or shrink. Get measured frequently so you're purchasing the right size.

What is the meaning of letters "B", "C" etc., in women bra sizes?

See This image for knowing Band and bust size ,They are measured in “Inch”Suppose ,Band size = X inchBust size = Y inchThen ,Find difference between them i.e X -Y ,Then this difference represent cup size which will be denoted by combination of alphabets .Refer this chart to find cup size .SupposeBust size = 36 inches. & Band size = 32 inchesSo the difference between them is 4 inches (36–32 = 4)So ,by referreing above chart , 4 inch corresponds to DAnd Thus your bra size will be 32 DHope you find it useful. Thanks for reading my answer.

Will wearing a bra cause my breasts to sag?

Hi, Lovelynn! Thanks for choosing me to answer this A2A.In my opinion, BRAS are totally overrated, that’s why I find myself not wearing one on most days. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE wearing sexy bras, but at the same time, I’m perfectly content without wearing one. =)Sagging is caused by gravity, pregnancy, weightloss, breastfeeding, and aging which is normal. That’s just the way the female anatomy works, we cannot avoid it. However, wearing bras religiously can cause breasts to sag prematurely. All breasts are different, so some women just don’t have a choice but to wear a bra for support. I highly recommend ladies to let their breasts out of the cage once in a while.Bras tend to weaken the ligaments/muscles, thus making breasts droop aka saggy. Of course, there are ways to keep breasts perky. Most opt for breasts implants, breasts reduction or breasts lift. If you decide to go this route; I would suggest doing your research first. As with any surgery comes risks!Personally, to keep my boobs rounder and perkier, I just give them the freedom to do so without wearing a bra. I walk around the house topless, if I go out sometimes I don’t wear a bra. I let them bounce & jiggle. My nips peek out whenever without any restraints.Pushup bras cannot prevent sagging. Oils & creams none of that shit will work. Here’s a scenario, imagine somebody putting a straitjacket on you when you are mentally stable & sane. Naturally, your reaction would be to break free, you’d feel uncomfortable and quite frankly, you would hate it. So the same thing applies to breasts, they do not like being restricted, they want to breathe.Set your BOOBS free! Especially when you’re lounging around the house. Like right now, I’m not wearing a bra, just my fleece jammie pants, and a cami. It’s a cold night but warm in the house and my nips are peeking out.Oh so comfy!
