What Does Watashi Wa Ikutsu Ka O Motsu Koto Ga Dekimasu Ka Mean

What does "watashi wa anata o aishiteimasu" mean?

It means “I love you”. Since others have explained the meaning very well already, I’ll just leave two quick tips. You don’t need to use those pronouns. Japanese is a highly contextual language, and subjects are often simply implied and left out of the sentence entirely. Watashi (I), and anata (you) would be dropped. Leaving just “Aishite imasu”, “Aishitemasu”(informal), or “Aishiteru” (informal). Though not technically grammatically incorrect the pronouns sound very unnatural.Second, don’t say “Aishite imasu” at all. Honestly, as a native speaker it sounds kind of cringy and a little melodramatic. I remember someone once told me that it sounds like something someone would say to their loved ones on their death bed. Most Japanese people tend not to be very verbally affectionate, (though I am sure there are exceptions to that rule). Even when my Japanese dad says “I love you”, he says it in English. Instead, it would probably sound better if you said “Sukidesu”, or “Sukidayo”, which translates closely to “I like you”, or a more light hearted and less dramatic “ I love you”.
