What animal could represent these elements?

How about a Peacock for your animal for the God of dreams.
All the spots of it's tail working as hypnotic sensors awakening different aspects of the dream state.

The Goddess of fire could be the bird of Paradise

The flaming red and yellow as is flys through the air gives it the illusion of a flame shooting across the sky.

Or even the Sun bear from Southeast Asia for the Goddess of fire. The yellow ring around it's neck could be a representation of the Sun Goddess giving a ring of Fire for another Goddess to be the keeper of the flames and fire and she gave this to the Sun Bear to be the carrier of this valued element and all it's decendents are honored animals of fire and the sun.
Blessed be

What animals could represent the element of fire?

Desert animals or animals that live near volcanoes. Some fish too that like to live by geothermal vents. Any animal could represent an element since we are all made up of the elements in some shape or science. However, if you want an authentic match, go with something that naturally lives or occupies by warm things. No animal can make fire but plenty do like the heat. What are some mythological animals that are part lion?

Some mythological animals that are part lion are:1.) Griffin - part eagle, part lionIt is a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle; and an eagle's talons as its front feet. Because the lion was traditionally considered the king of the beasts and the eagle the king of birds, the griffin was thought to be an especially powerful and majestic creature. The griffin was also thought of as king of all creatures. Griffins are known for guarding treasure and priceless possessions.Source: Griffin | Wikiwand2.) Chimera - part goat, part snake, and part lionAccording to Greek mythology, a monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature of Lycia in Asia Minor, composed of the parts of more than one animal. It is usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head,[1] and was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.Source: Chimera (mythology) | Wikiwand

Are there any elemental mythical creatures that could be any element?

The serpent, or specifically the 'Rainbow Serpent' might be the closest mythical creature that I know of.

Earth - as he slithered through the landscape during creation, he molded and shaped the earth forming gullies and deep channels. The multicolored coils of the Rainbow Serpent are reflected in the precious stones that are concealed in the Earth's crust.

Water - as the inhabitant of permanent waterholes, he is in control of life's most precious resource, water.

Air - after the rain, he is seen in the sky (air) as the rainbow.

Fire - tribes of the monsoonal areas depict an epic interaction of the Sun, Serpent and wind (Air) in their Dreamtime stories. The Rainbow Serpent "vies with the ever-reliable Sun," and there is a Rainbow Serpent Fire dance festival.

Animals that would represent fire and water?

I'd say a constrictor would be more appropriate for a water creature, as they tend to live in water more often than poisonous snakes do. A water fowl such as a duck or seagull would also work for the water element, as would a rat, ox, or tiger (in Chinese culture, anyway).

Lions are often associated with the sun, and since the sun is fire, that would be close. The rooster is also associated with the sun, as is the horse, spider, and ram.

What animals are associated with the elements?

Most Pagan traditions I'm familiar with only have 4 elements that I am familiar with:

Earth: many mammals (bulls, deer, etc.) as well as earth-dwelling creatures (moles, earthworms, bugs that burrow)

Air: birds, insects that fly

Fire: Reptiles that bask in the sun, lions (Leo is a fire sign; the mane is like the sunburst)

Water: Aquatic creatures (dolphins, fish, whales, crabs, clams, etc.)

What are some mythological fire creatures?

Firebirds (creatures from the slavic folklore).Phoenix (the modern version, who is heavily inspired by firebirds).Salamanders (not the amphibians: the mythical creature. Spirits of fire according to alchemists).Ifrits (evil Djinns of Fire in arabic legends)Seraphim (angels of fire)There are certainly other ones, but that’s what I can think of at first sight.Other creatures are of course LINKED with fire (dragons spit fire…Demons throw sinners in lakes of fire) but all the creatures above (firebirds, phoenix, salamanders, Ifrits and Seraphim) are supposed to be, at least partially, MADE of living fire.

What animals would be associated with certain elements?

Water: I think of Whales, Manta rays, or Otters, But if I can include fantasy creatures, Mermaids and Hippocampus would be included

Fire: I think of Tigers, Lions, or other wild cats (Their whiskers remind me of how the sun flares) including fantasy animals, Is choose Dragons and the Phoenix

Ice: I think of Stags, Peinguins, or Wolfs, can't really think of any mythical animals but their is one I heard of and it's like a Bird that flies over water and makes it Ice

Electric: Horses and Lions as well as Thunder birds, I just think about them when I think of thunder

Air: Griffins, Hippogriffs... anything bird related!

Earth: I usually think of bears or tortoises when I think of earth :/ as well as giants

Sorry for making it long!

What animal would fit a fifth Hogwarts house?

I would suggest that a fifth House would correspond to the element of Lightning. I know Lightning is not a primary element, but its formation does, however, involve the four primary elements - clouds are made of water, lightning passes through the air and often hits the earth. I can’t think how it relates to fire, but as the elements aren’t even mentioned in the Potterverse, we don’t have to get too precise. I thought that the Thunderbird would’ve been perfect as this House’s animal representative but as it already represents an Ilvermorny House, I couldn’t really use it. Then I remembered that the Thunderbird is a close cousin to the Phoenix, which is even more perfect considering Fawkes’ significance in the Potterverse.Otherwise, as others have mentioned, the fifth House could represent Aether/Spirit as it is sometimes considered the element which encases the other four. In this case, I would suggest the House animal could be a Unicorn or a Hippogriff as they are magical creatures that can only be seen by witches and wizards in the Potterverse and, thus, have connotations of Magic itself - an unseen force only accessible to a few. Also, the House’s colour could be Purple as it has been commonly associated with magic and spirituality throughout history.
