What Gamecube Game Is This

GameCube - Can hear the game but can't see it.?

Ok, there are certain things that I am totally ignorant about. One of those things are video game systems of any kind. My 8 yr old son has a game cube and I'm trying to hook in back up after moving it.....IT WON'T WORK!!!!!!! I can hear the music but can't find the picture. I even went out and bought a new AV cord because I thought it was bad. I just don't understand how difficult it can be! I plugged the red, white & yellow thingys into the back of the VCR/DVD player and the other end into the game cube.....what else is there? I've tried multiple combinations of channels on the DVD player and on the TV. We can hear the game! Where is it???? HELP!!!!!!! Please forgive a technically challeged mom. Thanks in advance.

What is your favorite GameCube game?

Holy crap, where do I start? The gamecube is by far and away my favorite game console. Because that’s exactly what it is. It doesn’t try to sell itself with a DVD and CD player, nor allow you to stream netflix or amazon prime. It boots up, and only wastes your time with the funky splash screen before throwing you headlong into why you powered the machine on in the first place: a damn fun game.My old gamecube is what I have, by far and away, more hours playing games on than any other, and in my opinion is the last great, TRULY great console Nintendo made.I’m torn between so many games. I remember Twilight Princess, 007: Nightfire, Mario Kart, Spyro: A new Beginning, and of course, Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader. But my favorite is probably Star Fox: Assault…What is that I hear you say? Halo or call of duty has awesome multiplayer? Bullshit. This game was the best of the best. I broke controllers getting into fights over this game. I must have played the campaign three or four DOZEN times. I had EVERYTHING unlocked and beat. I could quote every single line from the beginning to end of the campaign of that game. When you start to get bruises on your hands from all the hours you put in, you know that was a DAMN good game. Also, this might have been my first Star Fox game, and it might have turned me furry, cause Krystal…

Can my Wii play GameCube games?

It depends on when it was released. While all Wii models are capable of running gamecube titles, not all of them allow for that to happen legally. You can check by looking at the side of your unit(on top if you place your wii vertically). There should be a flap, under which you should find jacks for gamecube controllers and memory cards. Newer models (released around 2011 and forward) were stripped of this (mostly to make them cheaper) and even though you can see the part on the case where this would be, it's screwed shut if you force it open by unscrewing it, there are no jacks and you will pretty much just see the Wii's internal curcuits. For these models, the only way to run gamecube games is through emulators that allow the use of wii controllers like the Classic Controller to work as a gamecube one, e.g. Nintendont. This is illegal, however, so I wouldn't recommend it depending where you live or if you dont know how to mod your console.

Is it true that wii can play gamecube game? and if so then how do you put it in the system?.....?

Yes, Wii will play Gamecube games. Just load them in the slot like a Wii game.

What are some addicting Gamecube games?

Resident evil 0 and resident evil remake. Those games where awesome. They're survival horror games. Zombies and some simple puzzles.

Metriod prime is really one of the best game cube games there is too.

You can find game play videos on youtube of them if you wanna check em out further before buying.

Because gamecube is old by now, they should be pretty inexpensive. The resident evil and metriod games are pretty timeless in my opinion though. Their age wont make a difference.

How do I play GameCube games on a laptop?

I’m not sure why you’re specifying on ‘a laptop’. Laptops are just a form factor of PCs.Anyway, what you’re looking for is the Dolphin Emulator. Once you have that downloaded and set up, you’ll need to rip (or pirate, if you’re so inclined) some Gamecube game ISOs onto your harddrive. You’ll also need to set up a controller, which you can do in the Dolphin emulator settings. It’s really intuitive so that shouldn’t be a problem. The one issue is that depending on what sort of system you have, you may have trouble running some games. Emulation can be pretty taxing, especially on bigger and more graphically intensive games like the Zelda titles, so you’ll need a decent CPU and GPU if you want good results.

Can Gamecube games work on a PS2 console? ?

I have a PS2, and I have lots of good games for it. One of the games I want is Mario Party. Actually, do be exact, Mario Party 5. But unfortunately, the Mario Party games don't come on PS2. But on Gamecube they do. So anyway, I was talking to my Mom about it and when she was at the store, she over heared some people talking. And she might of heared one of them say that: "Gamecube games will work on the PS2 system." But she wasn't positive that's what they said. Maybe...IDK. But anyway, do they? I really need to know so I can get the game or not. (I really hope they do.) Even if they don't, I don't want to buy the Gamecube. So can you please help me?! Thanks! :) - Josh

Best Gamecube game for kids/family?

Anyone have any recommendations for a good, appropriate, fun game I can get my 8 year old for her birthday? Nothing with graphic violence or adult situations, of course. We have a Nintendo Gamecube with only 3 games, so on "video game time" she is bored. Thanks.

Is there any way to play Gamecube games on a Playstation 2?

No there isn't. The machines are completely different. Gamecubes aren't very expensive nowadays, but if you want to wait for the Wii, that's perfectly fine, since the Wii will be able to play GameCube games.

blademasterlink: you're wrong. New consoles do not drop price after a couple months. Maybe a year, year and a half later they might drop price. Additionally, consoles don't generally get new revisions for some time after the initial release, assuming they get new revisions at all. In general, the first release of a console is fairly solid, because you can't very well go and upgrade your console like you can a piece of software. I fully expect the first revision of the Wii to be a solid gaming machine. Plus, when new revisions are released, it's not publicized, so you'd have a tough time telling when (if) it happens.

As for adaptors, well, they don't exist. The closest you could come is getting some special hardware that will let you dump the GameCube game's data to your computer, then trying to find an emulator for it, but I highly doubt a functional (or full-speed) GameCube emulator exists. Besides, it'd probably be cheaper to go buy a GameCube (possibly used on eBay) then to get the hardware necessary to dump the disk to your computer.

How can you play GameCube games on Nintendo Wii?

Gamecube games only work on some versions of the Wii. The original RVL-001 model from 2006 accepts Gamecube games, and has memory card slots and ports for Gamecube controllers (you still need at least one Gamecube controller and probably one or more memory cards). This is the RVL-001The RVL-101, released in 2011, removed support. This is the RVL-101The latest model, the top-loading RVL-201, which is also known as the Wii Mini, doesn't support Gamecube games either. This is the RVL-201If you're buying a Wii used, chances are you'll get an RVL-001. If you're not sure, find out.If you're buying a Wii new now, you're pretty much stuck with the RVL-101 or RVL-201 (the RVL-201 is less expensive), and you'll have to accept that you won't be able to play Gamecube games on your system without modding it and using an emulator.
