What Gcse Grade Is This Work And How Can I Improve Reply Quick Pls

Becoming a doctor with bad grades?

Probably not. You need at least a 2.8 just to apply, and that will not get you in. the average accepted is aroud 3.6-3.7 depending on the school.
Here is what you can do. If you still have time left, work your *** off and get good grades. You have to demonstrate the ability to do well, and if you show improvement then they may be more forgiving.
however, with 4 Fs there is no way you can get your GPA up high enough for med school, since you have to give them ALL your transcripts. So what you have to do next is get a masters. there are several one year programs in clinical anatomy or human physiology. These are closely related to the first year med school curriculum, and if you did well there you could probably get in to med school. Good luck.

How do I prepare for my GCSE?

Hi,I understand your problem. The key to score good marks is first make sure you go over the entire content of the textbook and it is crystal clear to you. Second you should give sufficient time to past paper practice as most of the questions are repeated and doing the exam practice helps to build your confidence on the subject. The best way to make sure that you apply your knowledge perfectly is to a) Pick a topic you are revising lets suppose it is Cells in Biology or Algebra in Maths. b) After preparing the topic solve all the questions in the book and then go over the past papers of that topic and try to answer them. c) In this way you will understand how to apply the knowledge you have gained in the exams d) In this way prepare your entire topics. Once you syllabus is done, do the actual mock papers and you will definitely get A and A*.Make sure you do Maths daily as it requires practice everyday and rest of the subject you can do alternately. Do try it and let me know how it works !!! If you need past papers segregated by topics then do let me know. I may be able to help you with some links .For technique for learning you can read the article here:Blog Archives - Expert GuidanceHope it helps

GCSE english literature exam please help?

I'm with WJEC and I'm doing unit 1. I find sciences and maths a piece of cake, no problem. But I find English hard and I don't get as high grades in it. This means that, considering that there are TWO english GCSEs, if I don't get good grades in English it's going to hold me back. I normally work at an A grade standard in class. Now you're probably thinking A is very good but hear me out. In unit one there are Of Mice and Men questions and unseen poetry. I did an unseen poetry mock and got almost full marks; I did amazingly. There is one hour for the unseen poetry. Now here's the problem. I did not write much, but I took about 2 and a half hours to do it and I was concentrating all the way through. I know I have the potential to get an A* in this exam but I REALLY can't think quick enough. More importantly, even when I know what I want to write, it can sometimes take 5 minutes just to think of how I'm going to phrase it in a sentence. The exam's on May 20th and I think I'm doomed. I've always been a slow worker in English and this has been a huge problem for a long time. I need help! How do I overcome this problem and, also, how do I revise for this exam. I'm currently using the WJEC textbook for literature with the green tiger on it and it is helping. However, I don't know how to revise for Of Mice and Men. Text guides are good but they don't contain enough detail. Thanks a ton for taking your time to read this and best answer goes to a detailed, thorough and helpful answer. Thanks again.

Why do I find the new GCSE curriculum so hard?

I'm currently 16, and will be doing my maths GCSE paper in a few weeks. Currently I am predicted a B, and my year group will be the last one to do the old style GCSE curriculum. Out of curiosity, I found a number of sample exam papers for the upcoming curriculum that years below me will be studying, and could not understand the vast majority of the questions. There was a lot of terminology that I have never been taught, and many unfamiliar symbols, randomly given expressions and unclear instructions. However, both my parents (who did O levels) could understand it, as could my younger sister. So why does nobody my age get these questions when younger people at my school are?

I was really sick and need help with my math? I'm very confused?

2quadratic equation 2x2 + 7x – 4 = 0.
A. What is the value of the discriminant? Explain.

B. How many solutions does the quadratic equation have and are those solutions rational, irrational, or nonreal? Explain.
C. If the quadratic equation has real solutions, what are the solutions? Explain. Estimate irrational solutions to the nearest tenth.

1quadratic equation x2 – 6x = –1.

If you could explain to me instead of just giving answers, that would be most excellent
Thanks so much!

Do you think your grades are good reflection of your ability and why?

Absolutely not.Ability refers to what you can do.  Grades measure what you actually did in that particular class.  Many students do far less/worse work in their courses than they are capable of doing.  (I was one of those students!)  Also, instructors can only ask students to perform a small number of tasks in any given class; grades are necessarily based on a small, biased, and noisy sample of student work.
