If I breed two dogs one ckc and one akc can the pups be registered?
Continental Kennel Club- crap registry for puppy mills and bybers. AKC would never allow her to be registered with them thus the pups would have to be registered with the same crap registry. Canadian Kennel Club- absolutely. Transfer her papers to AKC and you can register the pups there. This is assuming you have full AKC reg on the male. This is also assuming you are actively showing in conformation or participating in field trials, and that you have plans to do all the necessary genetic screening on both dogs prior to mating.
Why do people assume APRI registration is not as good as AKC?
I don't suppose this is an overly important question... I only ask since I see so many people picking at APRI. The reason I ask is because any dog registered APRI can be registered AKC for free. The AKC has lost so many breeders to APRI due to the cost of registration. Now obviously if you show in AKC you would want to buy an AKC registered dog. So that I understand. However, APRI is a PURE bred registry that has requires a pedigree. They will not register any dog that does not have one. Is it that APRI is being confused with APR? Because they are two very different registries. I happen to breed stock dogs/working dogs which are not commonly recognized in AKC so mine are all registered ASDR (American Stock Dog Registry) but I also have them registered as APRI. Just wondering what the fear of APRI is??? Oh and no I'm not a puppy mill... I do have a husbandry degree... have a history as a vet tech... and all my dogs sleep in my bed with me and visit their vet regularly for all shots and DNA & CERTS. So yes I am a careful and responsible breeder. So I would appreciate your thoughts on the topic not a bash fest. ;-)

Canadian Kennel Club- registered with whichever country the pups are born in. Continental Kennel Club- why bother? It's a scam registry for people who can't register their dogs with a legit registry.

Of course it is fake.further if you want to have some fun talking then here is some ideas which can give some “sookoon” to your frustrated job-seeker mind:ask them why are you get selected.ask them if they will pay that amount of behalf of you then you will pay double from your very first salary.when they ask you to deposit money on xyz bank then tell them that you are injured so cant go to the bank.tell him/her than his/her voice resembles to one of your cousin are ask whether he/she is doing prank with you.act as you are very busy and talk randomly with imaginary people around you during the call.say that the signal is weak and ask for louder talk (you can also talk loud).and at last please dont abuse in phone call. better you should register complain in monster.com’s toll free number between monday to friday.
Why is everyone saying my dog is registered with a non-reputable club?
The fact is your pups are worth what someone will pay for them regardless of what registry, if any, used.If someone will pay $400 then the pup is worth that amount to them.No one can dictate what you sell your pups for.That is your business.Also I do feel you should be responsible to breed healthy dogs and be responsible for any pups produced.That said if both parents are AKC registered then your pups can be AKC registered.Also no registry can guarantee a pup/dog is purebred unless DNA is checked..It is all on the honesty of the breeder of a pup/dog.
