What Happened To Email Tabs

Does anyone know what happened to email.com aka mail.com)?

is that what you wanted?

What happened to my yahoo mail site rickstrause@yahoo.com?

Good question. But we are not esp experts or Yahoo Mail personel. We cannot look inside your account. This is Yahoo Answers and we are people like yourself.

If your not getting email try your firewall settings.

Kerio's Personal Firewall and other Firewalls does seem to disrupt Yahoo! Mail's ability
to function properly.
For Yahoo! Mail Beta to work on your system, you'll need to make it one of KPF's site
exceptions.
Here's how to do it:
Double-click the Kerio Personal Firewall icon to open the firewall configuration.
Click the Web tab on the left.
In the Site Exceptions tab, click the "Add" button, and enter *.mail.yahoo.com for the
www server address. Yes, you've read this correctly—an asterisk, followed by a
period, then mail-dot-yahoo-dot-com.
Click "OK."
Click "OK" to save and close the configuration.
You can now use Yahoo! Mail Beta while using Kerio's Personal Firewall and other
Firewalls.

What has happened to Yahoo Calendar?

Firstly, you are correct!
Yahoo! is apparently 'improving / fixing' each element in succession (and, yes, the end-user is 'suffering' the consequences).

That said, once your CALENDAR webpage is working correctly, IF you are still not receiving your previously-received Notices, you may wish to double-check your Event settings.

As each Event has it's own "Preferred Settings", you may need to view each Event!

1. Go to your CALENDAR webpage.
2. Click on a selected Event.
3. Note the desired settings.

....or....

TO CREATE A NEW / or CHANGE an Event:

1. Go to CALENDAR webpage.
2. Click on "New Event".
3. Create a new event by altering / changing your settings

Why do emails disappear from my Gmail inbox tabs when I swipe 'done' in the new Google Inbox? How can I adjust that?

Well they want you to re-evaluate how you think about email. So swiping done clears it from your Inbox by Gmail and your Gmail inbox. The emails then end up in the "Done" folder and archived "All Mail" folder, respectively for the two services. You can search for past content there or use the search bar. There is no way to adjust it so that swiping done results in 'mark as read' as far as I know.

What is email sync?

It’s acually something you see EVERY DAY, but broadly speaking…The possibility of syncing data offers very interesting opportunities for businesses. When you access your inbox from your pc or mobile phone, what you are actually doing is accessing the remote server (the place where your emails are stored, such as Gmail for example) via a so called “client-side program” (web browser or mail app). It’s important to understand this because what the sync option does (normally activated when you install or configurate an email program) is ensure that whatever you do on the client-side program also happens in the remote server. So, let’s suppose you delete an email from your pc or mobile phone. This is what would happen.Sync NOT enabled: the email will still be on the server and available for later accessSync enabled: the email is also deleted and you can’t access it anymoreHow email sync can be use for boosting your business?Of course, I can’t speak for every possible business out there, but in my sector (lead generation) it certainly does! (Have you heard about CRMs?)Now, I don’t know how much detail you need and why you are interested in this, so I won’t bother you with too much information, but in case you’d like to find out more about this and lead generation in general, you might want to have a look at this article.5 undervalued benefits of using CRM retargeting for your business - LeadsBridgeP.s. I wish I could help, but I'm having the same issue. I've tried to reach out to support, but haven't had any luck.

Missing Calendar Tab in Yahoo mail?

Yahoo is currently introducing a new mail version to most users, the missing "calendar" feature is related to that. This does NOT mean that Yahoo will do away with it, it's just not available anymore from the lists of features. What works for now though is this direct link, maybe bookmark it, just in case:

How do I change the delivery of emails from the promotions tab to my Inbox in Gmail?

Hi..The simple and easy way is,Drag and DropOne of the simplest ways to move an email is to left-click and hold on the email and drag it from the promotions tab over to the Primary tab. Releasing the mouse will drop the email into the primary tab. After it is dropped, Gmail will ask if you wish to make the change permanent. Click yes to make sure that all future messages from the same address will appear in the primary tab.The same can be up-lied to different categories like primary to promotions etc..The other way is,Right-ClickWith the email highlighted, you can right-click on the email and bring up a list of options in some browsers. Click move to tab option and select the tab you wish to move the email to. After selecting the tab it will again ask if you want to make the change permanent and click yes.The more advance way is,Search and FilterThis option is more advanced, requiring you to search within Gmail for an address. After the results populate, click the small grey arrow to the right of the search bar to get to advanced features. Click create a filter with this search link at the bottom of the results. Close to the bottom of the advanced filter window will be a categorize as section with a drop-down box where you can select which tab you want it in. After you have created the filter, all future emails from that address will be moved to the tab you selected. When you are sending an email showing your subscribers how to move you to the primary tab, make sure that you reinforce why it is important for them to view your emails. This could be staying up to date on new products and services or being notified when a webinar or sale comes up. Whichever it is, make sure that your call to action is clear: you want subscribers to move you to their primary tabs. Writing a blog about it and showing your subscribers how to change their tabs will also be a step in the right direction to increasing your open rates.Try and adopt the way which suits you.

How do I permanently move an email from promotions to the inbox in Gmail? I get no pop up when I move it asking if I want this to be permanent.

That’s because Gmail does not prompt for situations where there is only one logical choice. It’s a good question — an excellent one — but it will never happen again, unless Gmail can’t easily track it, for example someone who doesn’t always send from the same e-mail, or they are using some mail software does not properly report the sender. (it’s called a header). But this is rare because Gmail enforces the rules so well.Your rules/wishes always supersede Gmail’s though. In fact, you could make a filter. You’ll find that option in Settings. You may wish to watch Lynda.com’s tutorials on Gmail to understand fully.
