What Has Been Your Most Painful Body Piercing

What are the most painful body piercings? Order from least painful to most.?

I'm not exactly an expert on piercings, but I have had many. The ones that will be the most painful are those that go through cartilage and harder body structures. Ones that are less painful are ones in fleshy areas or areas that heal quickly or areas that have many pain sensors. For example, nipple and navel piercings are relatively painless in comparison to conch piercings that go through the main ear cartilage and the rook piercing on the ear that goes through the hardest and thickest cartilage in the ear.

I have had my rook, tragus, industrial, and lobes pierced and the most painful by FAR was the rook. It also depends on the method of piercing. Because the shock from getting your lobes pierced with a gun leaves your ears far more sore than getting them done with a needle. Also getting body piercings done free-hand or using a clamp also plays into the pain factor. And actually piercing the skin vs. punching the skin (actual removal of a piece of flesh) also factors in.

So essentially fleshy piercings like the ear lobes, nipple, navel, eyebrows, tongue will be much less painful than ones like the conch, rook, nape, septum, etc.

Hope this helps.

What is the most painful piercing you can get?

Piercings are extremely popular these days. There was a time when getting a piercing meant getting the ear lobes pierced. With changing trends and fashions, getting piercings on various other parts of the body is in vogue.Besides the different types of ear piercings that are popular these days, it is common to see piercings in the nose, belly button, eyebrows, nipples, tongue, lips and even genitals. Here are the 3 most painful piercings ever, though not listed here in any particular order:1. The LipFor most people, getting the lip pierced is extremely painful. Though the amount of pain undergone by a person will depend upon WHERE exactly he goes for a piercing on the lip (side, Monroe, bottom, etc.), it is the initial sting when the needle hits the flesh which is most horrifying.A few hours later, a pierced lip feels almost like a piercing on any other part of the body. Actually, the pain will be very similar to that of an ear lobe piercing within a few hours. It does not bleed and should heal within 6-8 weeks if it is cared for properly. Most people who have got a lip piercing say it hurts much lesser than getting the nose pierced.2. The NipplesMen as well as women who have been through a nipple piercing will vouch for the fact that it was extremely painful and horrifying. That is because this area of the human body has lots of nerves. Presence of more the nerves in any area make it more sensitive to feelings of hot, cold, pain and pleasure.Besides the pain that a person undergoes at the time of getting the nipple pierced, the discomfort experienced later on account of it cannot be brushed aside either. Since any person cannot go bare-chested till his nipple piercing gets healed, the garments which snag on to the bar or rub against it all the time make it one of the most painful piercings.3. The GenitalsNow that seriously does not need an explanation. It is common knowledge that genitals are the MOST sensitive part of any person's anatomy. Both males as well as females who have got their genitals pierced shudder at the thought of the pain they went through just to carry out their fetish.Besides the initial pain, the chances of getting an infection in this part are extremely high and it also causes discomfort during the healing, easily making it THE MOST painful piercing of all. There are many people for whom this is the best piercing inspite of the pain and discomfort involved because the determination to get one alleviates the fear of pain.

What’s the most painful piercing you have had?

The most painful piercing is kind of a toss up for me.I’ve had my ears, eyebrow, and lip professionally pierced. I’ve also pierced my own lip.Physically I’d say the eyebrow was the most painful. There’s a few reasons, one being that I got my eyebrow pierced a day or two after an eyebrow wax. When the hairs started to regrow, there were a couple follicles apparently where I was pierced. Ow.Mentally, it was the time I pierced my own lip. I had moved in with my father for the first and only time, the summer before my senior year. I had a step-sister who was nine months younger than me, who lived there. She had already gotten her belly-button pierced and had a cell-phone, things I was promised would happen for me too. (I did not want my belly-button pierced but my lip,) Partying was permitted at my dad’s house, by partying I mean smoking weed and drinking pretty regularly for us. The weekend before my birthday, my step-sister and I had her cousin over to hang out with us. We partied and I flippantly mentioned I could pierce my own lip, I wasn't sure why my dad was spending money he didn’t have to get it pierced for me. Before you say it I craved approval at this time. I was pathetic I know. This triggered the girls to bet me I couldn’t do it. I did. Complete with appropriate jewelry and everything. The next morning my father told me; “Either you take that fucking thing out or leave. I can’t believe you couldn't just wait,”Well, he was a hypocritical fuck, and I wasn’t staying there. So I had my mom come pick me up and take me back. When she hit me with the same exact ultimatum! (My mom was pierced and is tattooed.) She told me I would have to live with my sister if I didn’t take it out.I no longer have any piercings besides my ears, and even they close up sometimes.

How painful is a septum piercing?

I just had mine done. I had read a lot on the subject and I found out that it hurts when you get your cartilage pierced. However, the septum should be pierced in something they call "the sweet spot". This is a thin layer of skin between the tip of your nose and your cartilage. When I decided to get my septum pierced, I made sure the piercer would check for my sweet spot (as I learned, not everyone has it) and she found it, saying I had the best septum for piercing. I really wanted this piercing but I am extremely sensitive to pain. And I told her I had researched as much as I could about this. I was really scared she would make any of the mistakes I found all over youtube. She was super professional. Before I go on talking about the pain, let me just tell you that I found out some videos like this one, in which people complain about some numbness in their faces, some headache, etc. I read that this happens when you hit the cartilage. But I know that each one of us reacts in different ways to pain. I'm not sure if it's supposed to feel like that. But I'm not a piercer. So, what did I feel?First of all, I felt a huge discomfort while she was pushing the clamp. She said she was making sure she had the sweet spot, so she pulled my nose a lot, I was feeling like she was turning it inside out. Then she explained that she was about to pierce. I was already feeling so much pressure, that the needle didn't hurt me much more. I would say it hurt 2/10. And the amazing thing is that as soon as she was over, it didn't hurt at all. I was feeling the ring, felt a tiny bit of burning while she was cleaning, but I was surprised at the fact that it wasn't feeling sore. I went home, cleaned it, and four days have passed. Although I'm careful with it, it still doesn't hurt, it just burns when I clean it in the morning. I even blew my nose already (soflty of course).Ok, maybe I just got lucky with my anatomy, but I wish everyone would have a similar experience. If you're planning on getting one, please do your homework and get yourself a good professional.

Most painful and painless piercing?

i've asked for the industrial piercing before and she said yes and then my aunt told her that people has been getting parallized from it and that scared her out of it. well my friend just got hers and they didnt worn her of that stuff. so she might ease up on that but i doubt it. but i was the first that wanted to get that piercing. my friend wanted it after i wasnt allowd so i dont want to feel like im copying her when really she was copying me....snakebites is what i really want shes said no because a tongue ring is the only thing im allowd having that is "akward" or what ever im 15 and i want something else something i can show off and i was always told cartlige or how ever you spell it wasnt supposed to hurt?

Should you get the most painful piercing done first or last?

The correct answer is neither. There is no reason to do something which is painful, leads to infections and deformity.

Is it more painful to get a piercing done with a needle or with a gun?

I have not had any piercings done with a gun (to my knowledge - I got my lobes done when I was a baby and they’re uneven, so thanks for that Mom) but needle piercing will end up being less painful for you in the long run.Someone commented that ‘gun’ piercing is “easier and faster”, which is true if you’re talking about the person piercing you. For the person getting pierced, they’re at a higher risk of having infections and long term pain because piercing ‘guns’ are notoriously hard to clean properly and use a spring loaded meechanism to force the earring through your ear. Needle piercing by comparison, uses a a hollow sterilized needle designed to go through skin that cuts a fistula for the jewelry to be placed in. You’re also likely to find better quality jewelry at a piercing studio than at Claire’s, so just save yourself the trouble and go to a shop.

Which body piercing hurts the most?

Pain is a relative thing. I have my septum, both nipples, and a monroe piercing. My nipples hurt the most, but I actually teared up when I had my septum pierced. It's all based on ones own pain tolerance.

What is more painful a tongue Piercing or Microdermal Piercing?

I have my tongue pierced. i thought it was pretty painful. now im getting microdermals on my hips and would like to know how painful they are ahead of time. Could someone who has both done tell me which one was more painful and by how much. i know everyones pain tolerance is different but one has to hurt more than the other... Thanks so much.
