who sings the song that goes "it jsut takes some time a little bit of rhythm and lots of rhyme everything everything wil lbe just fine everything everything will be alrite alrite

ive had that stuck in my head forever and cant think of the band

Where do I get rhythm from?

Good question.

I have learned a little bit of dancing but I have learned music and singing for many years. Rhythm is the most important thing in dancing, singing or playing any kind of musical instrument. It is what the dancer, the singer, and every instrument in the orchestra follows in order to create a performance that is in harmony.

We all are born with a minimal understanding of rhythm. So I don't think that you have no rhythm. We all do, a little bit. In order to dance (or play music), what is needed is to polish that understanding more. And that only comes from practice. The ear has to first get used to differentiating between different beats and the body has to get used to dancing in timing or rhythm. Both these things can come from practice and obviously by learning from a teacher.

You love music and you want to dance. That means that you have the ambition in your heart to learn. The only other thing you need is patience. One can get very good with understanding rhythm and dancing to rhythm but it takes time. It can't happen in a couple of weeks. No one in this world is that talented. So it will take time but believe me, you can do it. And once you start understanding rhythm, it will become automatic. You will hear a song begin and you will instantly know what kind of rhythm it will have and what tempo.

So start taking lessons and hang in there, you'll do great.

About looking stupid. In the beginning, whether you learn to dance or to sing, everyone does make mistakes which can seem stupid. I know we all don't want to be embarrassed. But in the beginning, those mistakes happen. So when you make a mistake like that, just brush it off, and try doing the same step again. When you get it right, believe me, you will be so impressed by yourself. The other thing to keep in mind is that once you have gone through those embarrassing situations, you will reach a point that you can go to any dance club and dance in such a way that people will notice and will be impressed. Most people you see dancing in dance clubs don't have a clue about what they're doing. But you'll know well what you are doing and believe me, people can see the beauty of the body when it dances in rhythm.

Good luck!

I have no rhythm :'(?

hey guy, listen to a bunch of beats all the time, and just move with them, like bob your head a little bit, once you feel it, when you move, try to move in that beat, with out looking stupid
also, try and FIND the metronome in hard rock, or dubstep, THAT will help you out

Why do some pop singers choose to not phrase on beat but a little bit behind or above it?

In many cases, it makes the music sound more conversational, and thus more "familiar," while adding some rhythmic complexity that can make performing it more interesting for the singer.I don't know the exact reason for doing this. Frankly, the answer probably amounts to "it sounds good" without any theoretical reason as to why.If you want me to try and analyze it, I think the first reason is because it sounds conversational and thus more accessible to the layman. Music is artificial and weird. We've gotten used to it because it's ubiquitous in our culture, but it's still weird. I think that's why a lot of people "don't like the way opera sounds." Singing in a very stylized, artistic fashion sounds foreign and people don't like things that are different.I suspect this is why "talk singing" has cropped up in several generations of music for as long as music's been around, whether you're talking about recitative, sprechstimme, or William Shatner. It makes the songs sound familiar and normal, and thus more appealing, at least when well-executed. Back phrasing could simply be an incarnation of this trend. The second reason I think it's done is because it makes it legitimately more rhythmically complex and thus more interesting for the performer. You won't tend to find the singer outright breaking rhythm when they're using back phrasing; rather they'll adopt a more free-form conversational rhythm that still fits within the measures but with more liberal use of triplets and other less usual subdivisions. You also won't tend to find them using it in sections of the music involving harmonic changes. It's more common to employ it over a vamp or over a sustained chord. When the harmony does change, the way they sing doesn't betray the harmony. It's still in tune. In short, it's free form musical improvization that continues to make theoretical sense; it's just varied compared to a simple, standard melody. Why is this important? When you've sung the same damn song hundreds of times, or when you're a fan who's listened to it the same way just as frequently, it can be nice to change things up a bit. Thanks for the a2a.

How do you effectively make someone lose the rhythm?

This is a cool topic.Ok, so suppose they are just drumming the: “Left, left, left, right, left” thing. Then, lets say there are about 6 snare drummers playing that. Well, if you are playing the snare as well, you got to mix them up.Here’s your rhythm: Ti-Ti, tika-tika, tika-tika, ti-ti, ti-ti tika-tika, ti-ti, ti-tika, tika-ti.I will see if I can upload a video or sound so you can hear it, but I tested this and it threw EVERYONE off beat. It works! If you are unfamiliar with drumming, then this chart will help get rhythms down.Ok, now if you don’t want to do snare drum, I’ll show you the bass drum.Ta, ta, ti-ti, ta, ta, tiki, ta, ta, tiki, taAgain, I will see if I can upload a video or sound.

How to add clarity to my lead guitar tone?

Hello there,

Have you checked to see that all your pedals are true by-pass? If any of them are not true bypass, they can be altering the tone when they are off (but still connected).

Regarding your ideas:
1) lowering the pickups will reduce the signal strength. If they ae too close now, you can be sending a distorted signal. But if they are not too close, you only weaken you signal by lowering them. You would not add clarity to the signal.
2) Nothing wrong the the speakers in an AC-30.
3) Might work, depends on what settings you were using and what you change to.

If the rhythm tone is fine and the lead tone is has a clarity loss, then look at what changes when you switch. One of the pedals you are kicking off is not true bypass and coloring the tone. One of the pedals you are kicking on is messing up the tone. Work thru them one by one to identify the culprit. Then it becomes a matter of how to fix that particular problem. Maybe a change in pedal order will do the trick. Maybe changing pedal settings will do the trick. Maybe you need to pull that pedal out of the chain. But before you can fix the tone, you need to identify what is causing the loss of clarity.

Later,

Why is it that everytime you are behind a car, your blinkers blink in unison for abit and then lose the rhythm

Your blinkers work off of a thermal flasher that when the bulbs come on their is a load put on the flasher unit, the flasher then heats up and and opens the circuit turning the bulbs off then quickly cools off then makes contact again. No two bulbs have the same resistance between them or the flashers do not always have the same time between turning on and off the bulbs, so it may seem that they are in time but really they are just a little bit off.

Does it mean anything if I am good with sequences, patterns, rhythms, ETC.?

Oh yes, absolutely! It means you’re really good with sequences, patterns, rhythms, etc. That’s all it means, though. If you’re looking for psychopathology or a diagnosis of some sort, no one on Quora can give you one. You’d have to go in person to a licensed professional who is trained in diagnoses and tell them all of your symptoms which may or may not include being good with sequences, patterns, rhythms, and the like.Or, you could just stop pathologizing every little bit of behavior and possible quirk and accept that humans are good with some things and not so good with others. If you feel marked distress at being good with sequences, patterns, rhythms, etc., then definitely seek the help of a professional. Any kind of distress is usually a signal to seek the help of a licensed clinician.
