What are the challenges American parents face every day?

Ill reply to this as not challenges all parents face, but challenges that American parents face in particular. Before reading this, I am speaking in generalities and there are always individual or specific group exceptions as they apply to parenting - not general American culture in specific.A big one is a cultural subversion of authority.American culture celebrates the self reliant individual. Because of this, American parents often give their kids so much space to make their own mistakes that they often don’t have much of a clue what their kids are doing.American culture celebrates the new and the boldly rebellious. American parents tolerate rebelliousness of character in their kids, often to the point that children are more likely to discount or ignore their parents. It also tolerates many parenting models which appear philosophically advanced without any actual evidence.American culture tolerates anti-intellectual behavior. Being smart and well educated isn’t always the primary goal when it should be everyone’s goal to remain competitive.American culture conveys that ‘whatever happens, its all going to be okay’. Parents often avoid saying “you are going to destroy your life forever if you …” but instead soften it to the point that their children don’t take it seriously. These things are all the flip side of philosophies that I view as generally positive attributes.

What challenges did african americans face at the end of ww2?

Many blacks could not vote because of poll taxes and literacy tests and there was still segregation in the south and housing restrictions in both the north and the south. This did not begin to change until the Brown vs Board of Education decision that made segregation in all public schools in the U.S.(1954 Supreme Court decision) that overturned Plessy vs Ferguson (1896 U.S. Supreme Court decision). The mid-20th century civil rights efforts began with Rosa Parks and the Montgomery, Alabama, bus boycott that lasted for over a year. It was also the murder of Emmet Till in Mississippi, while he was visiting relatives, that was a major cause also for a civil rights movement, that hasn't stopped yet.

What would a modern day US President need to accomplish to have their face placed on a piece of legal currency?

As Angela pointed out, first they need to die.But there has been a concerted effort by The Reagan Legacy Project (no promise the name is correct) to get Reagan's image on both the $10 bill (replacing Hamilton) and the dime (replacing the modern conservatives arch-enemy — and quite possibly their archangel — FDR!)They've been at it for sometime now, and haven't succeeded. That is, in part, because it would require holding a solid Republican majority in both houses of Congress and the White House. And, even if the Republicans recapture the House, increase their hold on the Senate and Trump wins a second term, it's unlikely. Why? Because Trump knows changes like that are slow and don't often happen, and he thinks HE deserves to be on at least one coin or bill, and replacing Washington, Jefferson, or Lincoln just ain't gonna happen!

Any 5 major challenge being faced by Indian democracy?

Indian democracy is a failure.Challenges faced by Indian democracy. The pillars of democracy are Corrupt. Pillars of Democracy known asJudiciaryExecutiveLegislatureMediaOut of these four who can say with confidence these Organization, agencies isn't Corrupt or is there anybody who trust or have full faith is these pillars?Of Course not.Whoever created democracy have created four pillars of democracy but there's one more important factor than these pillars on which the foundation of these pillars laid & that isSMART, EDUCATED CITIZENS WHO CAN VOTE & CHOOSE BETTER LEADERS & DOESNT VOTE ON BASIS OF RELIGION OR TAKING BRIBE.that's what India lacks, Majority of Indian voters are poor & reside in villages who vote purely on basis of religion, casteism Even Educated ones. Which result is choosing wrong leaders.Citizens & four pillars of democracy are challenged face by the Indian democracy.Look at other countries why they are Superpower or developed.America: USA feels like true democracy but it isnt, in recent President election everybody saw how FBI was a factor in winning Trump & Lose of Hilary Clinton. If FBI hadn't disclosed files related to Hillary Clinton, she would be President today. USA never had a woman president, can this be co-incidence. Final Lobbying is legal major oil, Arms companies give bribe to legislatures but it is legal. America didn't sign Paris agreement to save Earth because of Corruption. Really Democracy?Russia: Monarch.China: Monarch.UK: Constitutional Monarch. If you wish to compare Japan, Singapore or Finland then their Size matters, they are not a big as India in size. Smaller countries can develop fast because of quick implementation.Compare these countries with India, the reason India is not Superpower or developed only because of its Democracy.
