What Is A Creative Title About An Essay About The Declaration Of Independence

Ideas for a personal declaration of independence?

I hold these truths to be self evident; that I can choose my clothes without my mother's help;
that I can decide to diet or not to diet because it is my body and my responsibility
that I can choose my friends and learn whether I have chosen wisely or not myself.

You don't have to have issues with your parents about anything. It's a writing exercise. Make it up!

Essay title needed for 1960s essay?

It reads like you are in the brainstorming mode for your essay. That's great. Keep it up. I was born in 1969 and did research on Agent Orange for the Vietnam War when I was in graduate school. The 60s made an impression on me for many reasons. I was in the last wave of infants born during that era. It was also the time when my parents were young, and it was a turbulent time of social chance in the midst of an unpopular war. To help you brainstorm I would recommend listening to music of that era.

I listened to a lot of 60s music while studying the Vietnam War. I listened to this one while studying the Fall of Fire Support Base Ripcord in 1970.

The Doors were also common in Vietnam War films.

James Bond films had many classics songs over the years. One of the best in my opinion is by Nancy Sinatra for the theme of "You Only Live Twice" in 1966.

The 1960s were an era of social change and protests. It's very complicated. In the aftermath of the Vietnam War the chemical defoliant Agent Orange turned out to be a horrible health problem. There are still people being affected.

Just remember that they really were young - our parents and/or grandparents. The Monkees of the 1960s show symbolize that youth.

You definitely should look at the "Wall" about deceased Vietnam Veterans. I would recommend looking at your home town and state to find veterans of your area. I did and found that a 1960s veteran of my HS was killed the night I was born. He was only 19. His youth was taken.

Can u please score my essay?

Well, i'll just show the mistakes:
first sentence: presumption.
second sentence: why do you need the Although?
Fourth sentence: If you are imitating somebody who is a bad person, then that will ruin you. Plus nobody is perfect, so how will it make you flawless?
Fifth: America's founding fathers only did a part of good civilization's rules, and they added things by themselves. Plus they did it so that people could change the constitution. Nobody except for you can change your character.
Sixth: Thomas Duggen's Leaves of Time (the title italisized)
7th: no comma needed
8th: His imitating helps him develop a great personality.
9th: what in the world is aglamating?
10: "the imitation of others was a vice because it gave the young teen a sense of creativity that he devoided. " do you mean virtue instead of vice? read over the other parts to make sure that doesn't happen again
Second to last sentence: failure, not fallure
Last sentence: I don't imitate others, and I have creativity. Plus, if you imitate bad people, that won't help your society at all.

What do you think about my essay?

I have entered my changes in capital letters. I have added a few comas and when you see all the question marks, I was unsure what you were saying. Good Luck!!!
It would be a dream come true, if I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF BEING accepted into Burke Middle College; as soon as I was informed about this program I knew it was for me. This program would be an excellent way to gain independence and show the world what I am capable of. I would love to have all the freedoms of a college campus, but that is just another benefit to what I can learn and experience at this school. WHEN I RECEIVE ACCEPTANCE into this program, I am going to take as many courses as I can while still keeping my grades up, so I can EARN an associate degree and (????? I do not understand the remainder of this sentence --- remove some time off of a university. It would be a fantastic opportunity to take challenging college courses, especially classes that are not presented at my current high school. For example, I am interested in becoming fluent in sign language which is not a possibility at Freedom; however at Burke Middle College I WILL OBTAIN credit on this. Anyway, I am planning to attend Duke University, and ones transcript has to be incredibly impressive to BE ACCEPTED IN THAT ESTEEMED COLLEGE. I am hoping that if I attend Burke Middle College, my chances of receiving an acceptance from Duke will improve. This great program will also prepare me for the challenges of life, and prepare me for the responsibilities I will face during my career as a doctor. It would be an honor to be allowed to attend the program offered through Burke Middle College; your time and consideration is very much appreciated.

Why was Gandhi called "The Father of the Nation"?

Please note, common people in India started calling Mahatma Gandhi as ‘Bapu’ meaning father. Nobody forced the people to call him as ‘Bapu’.So, when you translate this into English, it would mean, that people of the nation that was yet to be created in the modern terms of a nation, India, called him as a Father. He thus obviously became the ‘Father of the nation’ through its people, and not through government designation or recognition.Further, we can also decipher that Mahatma Gandhi was the main leader who was responsible for creating a nation out of India. He might not have united the territories like Sarder Patel did later. But, he had united the people, the entire masses of Indian nationality to fight for freedom. Here lies the greatness of Mahatma Gandhi. The first reference to Mahatma Gandhi as Father of the Nation was made by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in a radio address from Singapore in 1944.In a Broadcast on Azad Hind Radio on July 6, 1944, he said,“India's last war of Independence has begun. Troops of the Azad Hind Fauz are now fighting bravely on the soil of India, and in spite of all difficulty and hardship they are pushing forward slowly but steadily. This armed struggle will go on until the last British is thrown out of India and until our Tricolour proudly flutters over the Viceroy's House in New Delhi. Father of our Nation! In this holy war of India's liberation, we ask for your blessings and good wishes.''After Gandhi’s Death, Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru used this title again.“Friends and comrades, the light has gone out of our lives, and there is darkness everywhere, and I do not quite know what to tell you or how to say it. Our beloved leader, Bapu as we called him, the Father of the Nation, is no more.”However, this is not an official title conferred by the Government of India.Yet the Constitution of India has these words enshrined in it.See this illustration of Subhas Chandra Bose on page 160 of the Indian Constitution, the original document, which is hand written and also designed and illustrated by hand.
