Is there a website like Duolingo to learn Japanese?

As your fellow Japanese language learner, I find these 2 sites very helpful.1) Erin's Challenge! I can speak Japanese. | The Japan Foundationhttps://www.erin.ne.jp/en/This site offers beautifully filmed lessons in videos and manga. An interesting fact about it is, actors and actresses are professional ones and you may find them in recent ドラマ too.2) Lang-8lang-8.com/You may have heard about this site already. But trust me, try it out yourself. It is fun and much easier to improve a foreign language by using the language on a regular basis (in this case, writing entries in the language you are learning).Additionally, this website is founded in Japan (by a Kyoto University alumnus). As a result, a great number of the users are Japanese native speakers. Getting corrections and feedbacks from them really helps!! Personally, I am very much inspired when reading other people learning my native language (Chinese) too!Lastly, both sites are completely free (Lang 8 users could become paid users if they would like to learn more than 2 languages though).Best luck with studying Japanese! :)

What are some websites and apps for learning Japanese?

There is a pretty big lack of quality apps for learning Japanese it seems, Honestly most of the apps that are created by and for English users are pretty bad, you will find much better results in Japanese apps created by Japanese for teaching children so you need to search in Japanese for your apps. A couple I have found so far are included below, The one good app created by english speakers is Tae Kim's Guide to Japanese, it has a wealth of grammar information and forces you to stop using romaji early on. free app. Learning Japanese on the App Store     There is a dictionary app for smartphones called Imi Ha(wa), it has great features that allow you to analyze sentences and comes with many great example sentences. It also allows you to see kanji and the stroke order with a small animation. Its free too.  imiwa? (Japanese dictionary) on the App Store    I Don't know about your level but you will eventually have to learn kanji, learning how to write kanji is super helpful in learning kanji. This app is for elementary level kanji, if you are a JLPT 3 or so you will be able to make it through half of the kanji. anyway its from gakko net, only in Japanese but its easy to use. 小学生手書き漢字ドリル1006 - はんぷく学習シリーズを App Store で  For helping to remember the sounds and readings of kanji you can use this kanji drill app. also a bit of advice is to ad the Romaji nihongo keyboard onto your phone in the settings. Its easier than the standard Japanese keypad, you need one or the other. 漢字ドリル - Android Apps on Google Play This is not an app but a really helpful Japanese learning channel ran by Japanese speakers and students, they call it nihongo no mori, they do it by JLPT from 5-1. The best thing is that they don't use very much English which forces you to learn more Japanese. nihongonomori Japan

Where is the best website to learn Japanese online?

♡That's a good question and one that gets asked often. Most of the sites given for that question are listed for you below. Try the first one listed, it seems to be a good starter site. But you have to check them all and decide for yourself. We all learn differently, what may be right for me, may not work for you. I personally learned from native speakers when I came to Japan. It was the best way for me to get natural speaking and correct pronunciation right. Good luck learning Japanese, I hope this helps! Please visit Japan too, if you have a chance.♡

Are there any websites like seemile to learn japanese?

Hello Ahmad, The best way to learn Japanese is by taking a class, enrolling in a course or investing in a good textbook. If you can't take classes then the self-study method with the correct resources is a good way.

The key to learning Japanese effectively is to work on your grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing. Its best to think of these as separate categories and focus on each specific category as these require different methods and techniques.

Start by learning the basics through grammar. These books really helped me.

• Shin Nihongo no Kiso I & II
http://japan-australia.blogspot.com/2011...

• An Introduction to Modern Japanese by Osamu Mizutani & Nobuko Mizutani
http://japan-australia.blogspot.com/2011...

• Japanese Demystified by Eriko Sato a self-teaching guide
http://japan-australia.blogspot.com/2011...

These books cover both polite Japanese, which is extremely important to learn in order to speak Japanese effectively and causal Japanese, which is great for everyday conversations.

I also recommend trying to learn a certain amount of vocab or kanji each day as this helps you build up your vocab and kanji ability. I tried to learn 5 kanji per day or about 20 a week and did the same with vocab.

Watching Japanese anime or any Japanese TV program is a good idea for improving your listening skills and also your vocabulary. Keep a notebook and jot down any new words you hear. Then look them up and find out the meaning.

Websites are not always the best way to learn Japanese. Most websites are run by people with no teaching credentials and are not even native speakers of Japanese. Some of them are just interested in making money and not in helping you in what you need to be successful in learning Japanese.

Whats the best website to learn Japanese free, fast?

I don’t feel there are any websites that will be able to help someone learn Japanese for free. There’s a number of sites that give “taster” amounts to help introduce you to it, but you’ll likely need to pay to learn more over time. It’s also unlikely that you’ll be able to learn it fast. I started almost a year ago and still only know very simple sentences, just because Japanese has a lot of different aspects that require learning. Hiragana, katakana, kanji, particles, and a different sentence structure. Japanese is one of the hardest languages to learn. There are two apps I know of that are fully free to use which you can make use of. One’s called Duolingo, and the other is LingoDeer. But you would still benefit from looking at language books, because these apps only help by getting you to memorise things. Understanding why, or the differences are something that you would need to look elsewhere for.

What are the best free apps or websites to learn Japanese?

I think that Bunpo is the best free app for Japanese grammar. Five reasons why:It provides explanation and excercises from N5 all the way through N1.It’s free to useThe UI is very simple and easy to learnIt’s fastYou have an access to a tutor who is there to answer questions.
