What Is An Example Of An External Relation With Canada

What are some example of external stimuli that cause change in plants ?

Phototropism/Heliotropism = growth towards light. Some plants track the sun as it moves across the sky (e.g. Lupines). Most plants will grow towards light if they are in the shade.

Thigmatropism = movement of plants in response to touch. Mimulus flowers (monkey flowers) close their stigmas when a bee brushes against them, which keeps their own pollen from fertilizing their own eggs. Venus flytraps are thigmatrophic, as are some leaves and petioles (have you seen leaves that close up when you touch them?)/

Roots will respond to pockets of nutrients in the soil by growing a lot of lateral roots. You might call this a type of chemotropism.

Gravitropism = growth in response to gravity. Root tips have cells that can respond to gravity and grow downwards. You can put a seed in any orientation and the root will find up/down with these cells and grow downwards.

Explain and give examples of internal and external customers?

Internal customers are vendors, people who supply you with the goods you need to operate the business. External customers are the patrons off the street who buy your wares. If you own a restaurant vendors are the laundry for the tablecloths, the meat supplier, the fish monger etc. And of course the external customers are the diners.

Examples of internal validity and external validity?

For internal validity you need to have the cause precede the effect, show the relationship between cause and effect, and eliminate other possible causes. So there are more drownings when people start to eat more ice cream. You can't therefore infer that ice cream eating causes drownings because there are also more drownings in summer when people are swimming.

For external validity you need to see to what extent you can generalize findings to other situations. So if there are more drownings in June, July and August is that also true in Australia where those seasons are cold?

What are some examples of Sovereignty?

Sovereignty is the concept that one state can handle it's affairs without another country interfering. An example of respecting sovereignty is America and Canada, who cooperate at the border, but largely do not interfere in each other's affairs.

The crucible. internal and external conflicts?

external:
john and elizabeth's cold relationship because john cheated and is trying to be good
putnam and francis nurse fighting because putnam was accusing him of witchery to gain land
hale and the court after he sees how blind they all are

internal:
john struggling to stay away from abigail although he still loves her (until a little after she accuses elizabeth)
elizabeth trying to forgive john, but cannot get over him cheating
hale trying to be good at what he does but he just ends up as a pawn in the court's game and until he realizes this he tries to not hang people, but allow them to confess. but he cant not hang people because the court forces him to sign a contract saying who ever are guilty and he has no choice but to sentence them to death

Can u explain the many-to-many relationship in DBMS?

The best way to answer this question is to look at each relationship that is possible between tables (or entities). There are three. The one to one, one to many and your question, many to many.

One to one is easy. For example, one person can only have one social security number (SIN in canada). So one table contains the name of the person and another table contains the SSN.

One to many - Here again we compare two values, each in separate tables. For example one teacher has many students.

Many to many - Finally we get to your question. There's a simple way to look at this. Let's take our example from above. One teacher has many students. But isn't it also the case that one student has many teachers? So if we have two tables, one showing all the information about teachers and the other showing all the information about students. If we connect the table thus -

Teacher - 1 ------- many - Student

then look at it from the other direction

Teacher - many ------- 1 - Student

but really the relationship is -

Teacher - many -------- many - Student

What are some examples of foreign policy?

War!This is the largest foreign policy a country can do. Thus most nations have armed forces of some form. Sending your troops in to enforce your dictats is the ultimate foreign policy. Nations form alliances to increase their strength especially when dealing with others. NATO has a policy that an attack on one member is an attack on another. Thus a NATO member is much stronger together, than one who is a non member.TradeNations sell stuff. And a lot of money is involved. Nations tax this in some form, and also have regulations about import of goods. For some nations lack of trade would decimate them - i.e. New Zealand. Thus nations trade policy will be a major part of their foreign policy. For example one of the reasons the USA was involved in the TPP talks was because they were going to use it to reduce the influence of China in the Pacific. However now that Trump will not join the pact, the USA will lose some influence.RecognitionRecognition of another nation is a big thing. And makes relations between to nations much easier.China (People’s Republic of) will not recognize any nation which recognizes China (Republic of - aka Taiwan). Most nation states recognize China (not Taiwan) because it is so big compared Taiwan - although a few states still recognize China (Republic of) - and face distain by China (Peoples Republic of).

Relationship between stimulus and response?

The stimulus is your bodies reaction to something, say you burnt your hand, this is the stimulus. The reaction is your bodies reaction to it. In this sense the stimulus will be sensed by sensory neurones which pass an electrical impulse through relay neurons until the impulse gets to the Central Nervous System. This then, gives out another impulse which travels down a Motor Neuron to the muscle telling your hand to be removed from the surface.
