What Is Asked In A Second Or Third Job Interview

What happens at a second job interview?

Depends on your first job interview. For me when I had to do multiple interviews the first one was just with my (future) immediate supervisor and she told me about the position and looked at my qualifications. I was asked a series of questions on why I fit the qualifications of the given job.

Second interview consisted of three people. My (future) immediate supervisor, as well as two of her supervisors. Here I was given a more in depth idea of the functioning of the job, and not just the day to day aspects of it. How I can contribute to the company, and ideas on how to better enhance said company, etc. (Do some research on your job before going to this interview).

Third interview was in front of a panel of 7 people. The former 3 people, plus some other people who work directly with where I am working, and some who deal with the section. Here I was tested on how quickly I can think on my feet, and my problem solving skills. This was basically a trial for if I were to get hired, how would I be able to handle different situations that may come up.

I hope that helps. Not everyone is the same structure, but that's one example of what I went though.

What happens in a second job interview?

At the second interview you can take small comfort knowing that you are now just one of 3 possible finalists who may be offered the job.

They will ask you another 30 questions to make sure they are not making a mistake and then offer the job to one of the other two finalists.

Sorry but that's how it works in real life, you waste your time and money travelling for interviews with these fools who can't even decide straight away who to hire and then find it was a complete waste of time after all.

WHAT IS h&M THIRD JOB INTERVIEW GOING TO BE LIKE?

I HAD APPLY FOR H&M AND I WAS SCHEDULED FOR MY SECOND INTERVIEW, THIS UP COMING WEEK. THERE'S FOUR STEPS BEFORE YOU GET THE JOB. THE FIRST WAS THE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION, THE SECOND WAS THE STORE INTERVIEW, THE THIRD IS THE STORE INTERVIEW BUT AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION AND THE FOUR IS JUST FILLING OUT PAPERWORK. I HAD FINISHED THE SECOND INTERVIEW BUT NOW I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE THIRD INTERVIEW IS GOING TO BE LIKE..someone please answer this..asap!!

I've been going to second and third round interviews for over a month now but haven't been able to get a job. What am I doing wrong by reading the things I have done?

Join the club. I have attend many interviews during my years of unemployment in the past. I recall going for a second and third interview just to see the big cheese or manager. A complete  waste of time just for a dead end job that paid a low wage too. This was when I was a blue collar worker over ten years ago.  Don't give up so quickly. It may take time to get that foot in the door at the right opportunity. It may not even be your fault. I have noticed that most employers are very particular and selective when it comes to choosing a prospective employee for their company. Most companies now prefer young people too. If you are a mature person then you will find it difficult to compete with the younger generation.

Third interview-Does this mean I have the job?

I applied for an HR coordinator position and was asked to come in a week later for an interview. After my first interview I was asked to come back "tomorrow" for a panel interview with the final applicants (this was a Thursday). On Friday I received a call around noon asking me to come back the following Wednesday to meet with the HR Director (big boss). I am really excited, but I do not want to get my hopes up only to be let down. Do you think I have the job? It's at a large casino chain. Any advice would be very helpful.

Walmart: Second Interview.?

I worked for Wal-Mart for a while and Sam's Club as well. It is typical for them to do two to three interviews. Mainly the reason is because they want you seen by multiple people in progressively higher positions to see what they think of you and to make sure you aren't being "friended" into a position.

The second interview will more than likely be with a department supervisor/manager or a person from the Human Resources department. It really varies in the order the interviews are given at each individual store. Sometimes it is HR, Dept. Supervisor, Dept/Store Manager and sometimes it is Dept. Supervisor, HR, Dept/Store Manager.

The interview will more than likely be very similar to the first one to see how consistent you are with your answers. You will probably have more of the situational types of questions asked of you. You may have questions about previous employers asked; i.e. why did you leave, did you ever have any disputes with coworkers/customers, etc..

If you get to the third interview and don't completely blow it, they typically give you the form for your drug test. If they give you the form for your drug test that is a guarantee you have the job unless you fail the drug test.

Good luck.

What to expect at a second interview with chick fil a?

Getting a second interview so quickly is a VERY good sign! Every second interview I've ever been on has varied greatly. Most of the times, it's so you can meet other staff members or management, or to focus more in depth on particular questions from the first interview. Sometimes second interviews are just cursory -- used for the hiring manager to "sleep on it" and confirm their first impression. I wouldn't be surprised if they offer you the job if all goes well. So I'd be prepared to answer when you can start, what days you can work, if the position and pay rate are acceptable to you (not sure if the pay rate is negotiable or not on this job, but wouldn't hurt to do some research online and have a counteroffer ready -- I wouldn't ask for too much more right away, but if you can up your rate even by 10 or 25 cents an hour, it will help!) Also be prepared to ask them when you can expect performance reviews, what the company benefits and policies are (health and dental insurance, paid vacation, will they provide a uniform, or do you have to purchase an outfit?, how long your training will be, opportunities for growth, etc). Good luck!

Questions about first and second Olive Garden interview?

The personality test may not get you the job but it can certainly prevent you from getting it if you really messed it up or were completely clueless, which obviously you are not. You have one of those wonderful, well written, correctly spelled, and properly punctuated questions, so I wouldn't worry about it.

It certainly sounds like you should at least get a second interview, even without knowing what their staffing requirements are. Restaurants have relatively high turnover and always need qualified applicants on file, so even if they don't have a hostess position open right now, they should want to meet you and see if you're a fit for other jobs. Depending on how many and the qualifications of their other applicants, they may train you for the server position anyway. Obviously you're bright and willing to learn, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Expect more of the same from the General Manager because the Shift Manager probably has the same questions that the GM would, and most of that would come from Corporate. Big companies are very cautious to standardize as many aspects of their operations as they can, and except for local idiosyncrasies, they will have specific questions they ask all applicants. The main difference in the GM interview is that you'll be talking with the person who has the power to actually hire you, but don't let that scare you. Have a firm handshake, make good eye contact, and smile as often as possible, because, obviously you're applying for a customer service position and they want friendly, open people in those jobs.

I think you'll do great. Emphasize your willingness and ability to learn new things, be a team player, and your passion for customer service (they love that stuff). And don't forget to smile.
