I will NOT say so.Extra chances and money is big boost for players who are not in the national team and allow kids to pursue their dreams in sports (cricket) other than studies, which is common trend in India.also playing with world's best or just foreign players give them cultural and competitive environment which is very good for them.Shane Watson, Ravindra Jadeja etc. got a boost their confidence and spring up their career in their respective national teams.Praveen Tambe, ashish nehra, balaji, johan botha etc will never get this type of chance at this age.stephen fleming, sanjay bangar etc. coaching exp huge thing for them.Shane Warne at least got a chance to be a regular Captain a side and boy he did so well.but then every rose has a thorn.so there are some negatives also. after parties(over a limit) and easy money.while for Indian test cricketwe still have likes of Pujara or Rahane or Kohli who excel in all places. T20 has become integral part of the cricket & there is nothing wrong as the audience loves it.They don't have that much time left to go & sit for a whole day or say 5 days to watch cricket.Cricket is entertainment. So let people have it.Now, coming to your question i would agree with the selectors if they select few guys who are performing well in IPL for national T20 team because of the amount of cricket been played these times every team needs 3-4 specialised T20 players to balance all the 3 formats. And in IPL the big guns from all over the world are playing & if someone is performing well against them & under tremendous pressure like international matches then definitely he earns a place in the national team. there is no doubt about it.
In normal international T20s there is only 1 break of 15 minutes, when teams switch their roles.And in IPL, BBL, PSL, etc. There are total 3 intervals, i.e, 15 mins for innings break and 150 seconds for strategic time-out.Strategic timeouts are given to each team once in their innings to plan some ground strategy against the fellow team.And also the players can have drinks, but that doesn't counts as a break as because the doesn't stops, batsman can have drinks as the wicket falls and the fielders can take drinks when they are fielding in deep areas or in other words when they are fielding close to the boundaries, and hence this is not counted as a break because the came is on.So, there are all total 3 intervals in T20 tournaments except international T20s.And 1 break of 15 mins in international T20s.Hope this helps you!

Agree with Hawkeye, Wish they would can T20 on an internationally level. Leave it for club comps like the IPL and the no doubt thousands of future competitions that will be made. There is no comparison between T20 and ODI in my opinion, one is skill one is luck. Not to mention it cuts down the amount of cricket we get to see. Completely agree with the window being opened so that all international players can attend the IPL. Interesting point on the switch hitting made by Warne, probably disagree with him though, A bowler should be good enough to get the upper hand if a batsman is switching to his lesser side. Its an entertaining shot, and as long as the batter doesn't move till after the release of the ball I have no problems. (the pitched outside leg rule should be nulled in this circumstance) God yes we need some kind of Test competition, I've posted similar ideas before about a tiered Test World Cup. It will boost its popularity with countries who aren't treated to 5 test match series. lol A 3 match series would be nice (NZ gets 1 per year and you can almost guarantee 1 will be ruined by rain) Whatever it takes to improve umpire standards the better, although giving them extra cash for there crappy performances of late seems strange. Maybe I should let my standards drop at work and see if I get a raise to improve. lol
