What Is My Face Shape

What is your face shape?

I’ve given this a lot of thought. My conclusion is that it depends who you ask. This is me:As you can see, I have a square forehead with a square hairline. My facial contour (as the art student in me wants to call it) dips at my eyes. My cheekbones are fairly prominent, and I am wider here than any other place on my face. My chin is almost flat and square, but does have a slight point in my chin.So according to the magazines and whatever:I could have an either square, diamond, or heart shaped face.Square faces are defined by their boxy silhouette, a flat and prominent chin, strong cheekbones, and a square forehead.Diamond faces supposedly have cheekbones as the widest point of the face, pointier chins, narrower foreheads, and fairly undefined eye contours.Heart shaped faces have a wide forehead, usually with a pointy hairline. They have sharp cheekbones, an angled chin, and a defined eye contour. You be the judge. I'm partial to either square or diamond. Can I make up my own though? Cause I think the hexagon is more me.What is your face shape?

What is my face shape?

I am wondering what my face shape is.
My face is 20 cm long
My forehead is 15 cm wide
My cheekbones are 18 cm wide and the widest point of my head
My jawline is 17 cm wide
From my bottom lip and down to the bottom of my chin, the length is 3,5cm
From my eyebrows and up to my hairline, the length is 5 cm.
My hairline has a point in the centre that is further down than the rest of my hair line.

Everytime i try and find my face shape, I get a completely different result, sometime it's square, sometimes it's Diamond shaped, sometimes it's oblong, and sometimes it's triangle shaped.

My chin isn't pointy, and from my chin and up to the widest part of my jaw, the slope isn't very steep.

My cheekbones and jawline is the most prominent feature on my face. My chin is also slightly receeding too.

And here's a picture: http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/7034/jm9i.jpg
(on the pic i had buzzed my hair for charity)
I know my face shape ain't oval, and depending on the angle, my jaw will either look square, or rounded. And even taken from the same angle on different days, the picture can be much different, and especially when i wear eye make-up, my face looks much more square than it does without. I have no idea what's up with my face.

What do you think my face shape is.

What is my face shape?

I look weirdly exactly like Katharine Isabelle especially when she plays ginger snaps. All of our features and hair are weirdly similar but it's the face shape that makes us almost twins. I could never figure out if my face was heart shape or oval but now that I know there is someone else with the same face shape as me I might have a better understanding of what shape I have and it will definitely help me with haircuts and makeup. These are pics we look the most alike

What the hell is my face shape?

I think it would be better to get another picture showing your hair line, its either between a heart shape (thats if you have a widows peak), diamond (if you hair line is rounded), or an inverted triangle (if you hair line is straight almost like square-ish).... Try to take a picture from a ID or take a picture with all your hair pulled back and look directly in the camera. Thats the best way to know your face shape. If not then you'll never know with that pretty picture.

What is my face shape, i can't tell?

There are lots of suggestions on how to figure out your shape. These include everything from outlining your face shape on a mirror with lipstick to draping it with a towel and asking others to help you guess the shape. But, there is actually a scientific way to determine your face shape once and for all.
To find out the shape of your face, measure it with a tape measure or ruler. You will take the following measurements.
1. Measure your face across the top of your cheekbones. Write down the measurement on a piece of paper.
2. Measure across your jaw line from the widest point to the widest point. Write down the measurement.
3. Measure across your forehead at the widest point. Generally the widest point will be somewhere about halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline. Write down the measurement.
4. Measure from the tip of your hairline to the bottom of your chin.
Oval Face - Length equal to one and a half times width.
Round Face - Your face is as wide as it is long. This may vary a little but generally the measurement is close.
Oblong - Longer than it is wide.
Heart - Narrow at jaw line, wide at cheekbones/and or forehead.
Square - your face is about as wide as it is long.
Diamond - Widest at cheekbones, narrow forehead and jaw line of approximately equal widths.

Oval
Only slightly narrower at the jaw line than at the temples, with a gently rounded hairline.

Rectangular or oblong
Long and slender, about the same width at forehead and just below cheekbones. May have a very narrow chin or a very high forehead.

Round
Full-looking face with a round chin and hairline. Widest point is at the cheeks and ears.

Square
A strong, square jaw line and usually an equally square hairline.

Heart
Face is wide at the temples and hairline, narrowing to a small delicate chin.

Triangular
Reverse of the heart-shape . . . a dominant jaw line with narrowing at the cheek bone and temples.

Diamond
A cross between heart and a dramatic oval. Widest at the cheekbones, and narrow equally at the forehead and jaw line.

I hate my face. How do I change my face shape?

When you look in a mirror and you see yourself frowning, how do you change that look? You can’t go into the mirror and change the reflection, can you?In order for you to see a different reflection - your smiling face - you must smile first. That’s the only way you can change the reflection in the mirror to be that of your smiling face. So, hating your face is like looking in the mirror and hating the frowning reflection of your face. The only way to change your face must come form inside of you.We are the assigners of meaning in our lives. All situations, all circumstances and all events are a neutral set of props which contain no built-in meaning. You assign that meaning and therefore, the assigner of that meaning. The meaning that you assign determines the effect that you get out.Suppose you have a cube and all sides of that cube are painted a particular color, and then paint one side a different color, two different ways of looking at that one neutral cube are as follows:1. Same cube, slightly different change. Same cube, different face.or2. Entirely different cubeIt is obvious that both ideas are true and it is simply a matter of which you assign it; how you choose to look at it. The effect you get in the analogy will be determined by that assignment of meaning. If you assign it as the same cube, with a slightly different side, then your attitude toward that cube will reflect that and you will get the effect of it being just the same cube.Should you understand it to be an entirely different cube now, and gear your assignment and attitude toward in speaking and finding what those differences are, your experience of the same exact cube can now be fresh, fascinating and can now be as if it is anew. Simply because you have chosen to look at it that way. This, by extension, can also be applied to your life and to your reality. If you make one minor, little change, you can choose to look at it as the same old boring life with a little change or as an entirely different reality; an entirely different scenario and set of events. For, once anything has changed, is has all changed and it is up to you how you choose to look at it.If you enjoyed this article or if it helped you, please upvote it and share it with your friends, family or whomever will benefit from it.For more inspiring articles and videos please visit my blog: Manifest Worldor you can go to my YouTube channel directly.Nemaste

How do you determine your face shape?

How can I change my round face shape?

I know a way to make it more square if that is something you are interested in. And I am reasoning here with an assumption in mind that you have a low body fat percentage and roundness does not come from excess bulk on your cheeks and neck.So yes, you can not change your face’s bones structure, but you can certainly get a more squared appearance by increasing the size of your masseter muscles. Those are the muscles which are located at the ends of your lower jaw bone and are responsible for closing the mouth. If you manage to successfully exercise these muscles and grow their size, your jaw will look more square. And henceforth your overall face shape will look more square.I am using two products for that purpose, number one is a mastic gum and number two is chisell. They are tough to chew items which work out masseter muscles very well.
