What Is One Of The Nicest Things You

What are some nice things to say to a stranger?

What are some nice things you would want to hear? Use that as your inspiration. And utilize the Internet. Sorry to be generic but hey, that's what it's here for. Site the people or passages or where the saying can be found (religious text, the author, the website) just so people can reference it or find it later...plus I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Just sayin ya know?! Probably not exactly what you were looking for but still, I hope it helps.

What is the last nice thing you did for someone?

Last year, I spoke to a lady I used to date and she said that she wasn’t going back to her home country during Christmas, so she would be in Scotland all alone. I totally hated that she was going to be alone and I still remember her fondly from our previous dates, so I arranged to get some flowers sent to her on Christmas Day and a card that said I think about her. She was very happy and sent me a text message on Christmas Day saying how lovely the flowers and the message were. It’s moments like this that make me happy, not because I took, but because I gave. She’s worth it, always, from the beginning until the end.EDIT: Actually, I know of a more recent event…About five weeks ago, a colleague sent an invitation round for her 23rd birthday party. The next day, she messaged me at work saying that she was sad, because not many people responded to her invitation. Only a few were going to show up. She then explicitly told me that she needed my presence on her birthday weekend and I agreed. I am not much of a clubbing person. In fact, I hate clubbing, but that night I threw out all reservations and stayed until the end of the evening just to make her happy. We left the club at around 4 am and I got home 4:30 am. Naturally, being 37 and not having been to a club for more than ten years, my ears started ringing like crazy the next morning. I thought I would never hear again. The next day though, she told me that this was the best birthday weekend she had in a while. 10/10, she said. That was enough for me. My ears suffered, but it was totally worth it. I’ve made the birthday girl happy.

What's the nicest thing you've done for a neighbor?

The nicest thing we've done for a neighbor was to look after her kids when she worked late and travelled for work.My husband was a stay at home dad to our 3 kids. The house behind us had a low wall that seperate our back yards. My youngest daughter, then 10 and the neighbour's daughter quickly became friends and were inseparable. Our neighbour had 2 younger sons and was recently divorced. She worked long hours and often had to travel for work and would often be away from home a couple of nights at a time. She had a live-in maid to care for the children but the children were more comfortable at our home. So after school they would hop over the wall and settle in at our house. The kids would all have a snack together, help each other with homework and in the summer they would swim until supper was ready, which my husband cooked. On the occasion when she travelled, the kids would all camp out and sleep in the TV room, get up early, jump over the wall to go and get ready for school. We managed to be her support system for about 4yrs until she decided to move back to the town she originally came from and where all her family lives. It is 10yrs later and our kids are still in contact and visit each other.

What is the nicest thing you, personally, have ever done for another person?

While preparing for my engineering entrance exams (in kakadeo , Kanpur) I came across this guy named Gautam Saroj. He belonged to a village from district Allahabad…!It was during the maths class , I never had a fixed seat during the classes , so coincidentally , on one class , he was sitting beside me. During a break , he just started discussing about the concepts which he might have missed during the class. After I cleared his doubts , he told he did his complete school studies in hindi medium , hence he had difficulties in studying in English , though the concepts were same , he told further about himself , that his father ( a farmer ) has borrowed money on lease by giving his farming land to the money lender , and sent him here. He was so desperate , to settle for any average college. He wasn't dreaming big like IITs or NITs etc.Don't know why I had this very strong urge , of helping him in this problem of his. From next day onwards , I was always available for him , in case he had any problem with the English. He secured a decent rank in UPTU exam , although not a good one in AIEEE or IIT-JEE.He took admission in this government college called UPTTI (Uttar Pradesh textile technology institute) in Kanpur. I was happy that he settled for something good.Few months back I had a chance to talk to him over phone. He told that he is just placed , with a decent package of 4LPA in Nagpur ( In textile industry starting packages are not so high , but yes these industries have a sure placement , package also rises with time).I felt so happy that day , because I had seen that guy during his days of peer pressure and li'l depression also.

As a teacher, what are the nicest things your students to have said to you

I am currently in my final year of engineering. In my first year, I heard my friend giving tuition classes to school going students. So, I thought of doing the same. I got a third grade student and a 9th grade student. I used to teach both of them English. as for the third grader I used to teach her science, maths and social science as well. So, here I am trying to teach this third grader what division is. So I teach her through candies. A very tried and tested method. Of course It took me time but after half an hour she finally got it.The next day I arrive to teach her and here she is all happy and jolly. Jumping around here and there. She comes to me and tells me that the teacher praised her and the whole class clapped for her because she explained 'division' to the whole class the way I did.she told me, "Sir, someday I will be a teacher just like you.". Oh boy did it make my day! I was really happy when she said that, made me feel special. At that exact moment I realized how important it is for children to have a role model in their lives. I was one of them and I felt no less than a superstar. Somehow I felt the same way Rishi Kapoor felt in the movie 'Do Dooni Chaar'.I felt proud to be a teacher then.

What are some nice things to call people?

There's this girl I like a lot, and sometimes I complement her on her blog. She does not like to be called 'cute' or 'adorable' even though she is super cute. So I don't know what to call her, really. I don't want to just use different words for 'adorable' since she doesn't like to be called that at all (don't know why). Does anyone have any nice complements or anything I could use?

What’s the nicest thing someone could genuinely say about you?

Well..umm…aaa..just a minute..60 59 58 57…. 5 4 3 2 1Aaaah! I give up!!Just can't think of any Just kidding! Here it goes :I have a sharp memory (not related to studies) when it comes to what that girl told me about my looks or how my manager reacted to my presentation. This is useful when I need to rectify or work on myself and also when I have to give someone taste of their own medicine. When I have interest in something, I do it with 100% dedication provided.I am working on putting down my thoughts for writing a novel someday ( which will not be about theory of physics or black holes or bitcoins, etc.)I love to give surprises like a surprise party or gifts which will bring a smile on someone's face.I am introvert but I am learning to fake it till I make it.I am a good singer and good at sketching.I am very short tempered but apologize immediately when I calm down and if it was my mistake.I have fought with depression for a while now and on the road to positivity. Writing this answer is helping me in the sameI have a lovely family who support me in every condition.I am in love with the concept of being in love.Shall add more if I recall.Cheers!
