What Is That One Game Were People Throw Down Dice On The Sidewalk

How to be responsible with fighting? (self defense)?

"1. is a punch to the temple deadly and can it really knock you out"

It has potential to do both, but a knockout is much more likely than a fatality.

"2. is a punch to the adams apple deadly and can it really knock you out"

If you crush the adams apple it stands a high chance of being a fatality. The odds of producing a knockout are very low, however. Knockouts are generally caused by a rapid drop in blood pressure or, more commonly, a bruise on the brain (concussion). The odds of a shot to the adams apple causing either one are low.

"3. is a punch to the nose deadly and can it really knock you out"

Rarely on both counts. It's much more likely that you'll break the cartilage and just cause a lot of bleeding. Breathing will also be interrupted, but it's not generally fatal because the person can simply open their mouth.

"4. is a punch to the chin deadly and can it really knock you out"

It's a GREAT place to produce a knockout because it shakes the brain around very well, meaning there's a high probability that a concussion will occur from a shot to the chin/jaw. If it's hard enough and at the right angle, it may cause a cervical fracture, which is basically a broken neck, but this is pretty rare.

"when do you use lethal techniques?"

When your life is in danger and you have no other option.

It should be said that nearly any throw or strike has the possibility of being a lethal technique. It's not uncommon for someone who's falling or being thrown or knocked down to hit their head on a hard object, like pavement or a table edge; those impacts may cause severe head trauma, including skull fractions. It's not so much the technique as its unintended consequences that cause the fatality. Rarely, a strike to the heart may also cause arrhythmia, or an irregular heart beat, which can lead to heart failure, but you've basically got to strike the heart very hard between beats, so it's really a roll of the dice. On the flip side, the human body is remarkably resilient. You can survive with your skin seared off, missing vital organs, and having your limbs amputated entirely. What I'm saying is, don't rely on a technique being lethal or even non-lethal. Think about how a court would look at it. A punch to the head wouldn't be seen as bad as a stomp to the knee, but would be worse than a simple pin or hold-down.
