What Is The Actual Storage Capacity For Apple Ipod Touch 5th Generation

Should I buy a 16GB or a 32GB iPod Touch 5th generation?

I suggest you to judge your IPod by functionality (memory) & processor. 16 GB is not enough anymore & no one prefers this. Go for 32gb , do not compromise on the space... Do price comparison for your Ipod at Online Shopping India, Price Comparison India & grab best deals at lowest prices.

I am buying the sixth generation iPod Touch. Which variant should I buy: the 16 GB, the 32 GB or the 64 GB?

iPod Touch 6th generation is pretty good and the beast if compared with its predecessor. It is having 64 Bit A8 chip which is roaring fast for gaming8MP iSight camera is also good.Retina Display still shines in the hand.If Price is not at all a issue then go for 64 GB. You can watch youtube, Hotstar videos which consume around 8 to GB per application if you prefer saving videos for offline watching. Other Heavy ios games are well above 1GB like Asphalt etc. As it a iPod you will definately store some Music in it which i assume will be around 5 to 6GB. So there is no point in purchasing 16GB. If you can Optimize your storage you can go for 32GB. But I would suggest 64GB option.Suggestion: Go for iPad Air 2 32GB if you really want to get full out of any ios device you are currently gonna purchase

Should I consider purchasing an iPod Touch 6th Generation? Does it come close to the iPhone 5s?

Those who think iPod touch 6th gen is better than iPhone 5s Must read my answer:First let's talk about the specs:iPod touch 6th gen:A8 dual core Processor (Newer SoC)1Gig RAM (Enough)8MP camera (Cool)iPhone 5s:A7 dual core processor (old is gold)1Gig RAM (Enough)8MP (Super cool)Those who think iPod touch 6th gen is better than iPhone 5s,Are you believe in Benchmark scores? OK let's see who wins.iPod Touch 6th genSource: DetroitBORG VideoiPhone 5sSource: My iPhone 5sAccording to benchmark scores (Geekbench Benchmark ) the performance is almost identical but iPhone 5s wins with around 100 points but that doesn't matter in real life performance. So let me answer your question,As you seen above the performance of both devices are nearly identical to each other. You are confuse between iPhone 5s and iPod touch. If you just want to experience iOS platform I would recommend you go for iPod touch 6th gen.Why iPod touch and why not iPhone 5s?Because of storage option. You will get 128gigs iPod @ $399 where as 32gigs iPhone @ $499 (Off contact). Dude storage is everything on your device. I myself frustrated with 16gigs iPhone. Don't buy 16gigs device. Go for 32gigs (Minimum).16GB iPhone pain :( Rohit Raj's answer to What is like living with a 16 GB iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s? Can anybody share their experience?iPod touch 6th gen is apple's new baby, you will get better experience of newer iOS compare to iPhone 5s (frustrated with iOS 9.1 on 5s)More color option over iPhoneBut remember many features of iOS does not support iPod whereas iPhone supports, but I think your $70 android device will fulfill it.Apps like WhatsApp and other which requires cellular connectivity does not support iPod touch but still you can install it on your iPod touch. Download software for your PC called iTools, iFunBox (iTunes alternative) by using this software you can install WhatsApp and other non supported app on your iPod (but not iPad apps)I don't say about screen size because I myself love 4" iPhone because it is handy. All the people around me hate 4" phones. That's your choice but according to me go with 4" iPod. Gameplay on 4" device is also superb :)If you planned for iPod touch, please go with minimum 32gigs. Must share your new iPod touch photos in the comment section below. Will waiting for it :)

Ipod nano 7th generation alternative?

I ran into a similar dilemma when my Nano 5th gen was stolen and didn't want the touchscreen feature of the 6th. I ended up getting a Sony Walkman media player. Here's the current version. http://store.sony.com/16gb-walkman-mp3-p...

It comes with Media Go, but can use almost any media manager program.

The iPod does have a better screen for video playback.

If you use it only for audio, there are a number of simple players that have micro SD cards for expansion. This one is 16GB internal plus 16GB on the card http://www.sandisk.com/products/music-vi...

How many songs can an Ipod Classic 80gb 6th generation hold?

Im thinking of buying this item on ebay. But before i do that i want to know how many songs it holds. And also if any of you have any comments on this specific item i would appreciate it. Im not looking to buy new, this item is refurb and i dont really want a touch screen so i though this would work because i do just really want song space.

Ipod Touch 4th Gen or 5th Gen?

I would definitely choose the iPod touch 5th gen.
The main reason is that I currently have the 4th gen and the experience is absolutely awful. I have iOS 6 (the latest OS) and while it is theoretically supported by Apple, the (RAM) memory that is available too the user is so low that you can only use the device for casual browsing, checking email, etc. If you want to use heavy applications, just forget about it...and as for 3D games, they usually won't even load.
The iPod touch 5th gen has significantly more RAM, so you'll get a true iOS experience with it. And of course, it has many more features.
Now...a general comparison of the two devices:
The iPod touch 4th gen has a really bad camera (it's less than 1 MP and is also terrible in low-light conditions). Video is at 720p and is decent. Microphone is average to low. The iPod touch 5th gen has a 5MP camera that shoots 1080p Full HD video and has a flash. I think the mic is better too.
The 5th gen also has AirPlay mirroring if you have an Apple TV.
The battery life of the 5th gen is slightly better, with both devices staying up to 40 hours on audio playback.
The iPod touch 5th gen comes in a few different colors, while the 4th gen comes in black and white only.
The iPod touch 5th gen has Siri and uses the Lightning connector.
The display size of the 4th gen is 3.5 inches and of the 5th gen is 4 inches. The 5th gen is also slightly thinner and lighter, but both are VERY thin. The display quality on both devices is awesome.
And as for the price, the difference between the 32GB models is small- 4th gen is $249 and 5th gen is $299.
Well, I hope I covered all you needed...Again, I strongly recommend the 5th gen.
