What Is The Average Price For An Audi R8

What is the average price of an Audi R8?

You might be in one of the best rides of your life. A used audi r8 has price tag between $114,000-$145,000. That's only used but if a new one interests you a new one might be $155,000-$170,000 depending on the seller and condition. I know what your thing but trust me, it's worth every penny. A new version might even make you skydive for it, a Audi r8 v10. Just try to imagine a gallardo engine with a Audi R8 bodystyle. This baby uses a 5.2 liter v10 which produces 518bhp. But it's not like a gallardo, because the price tag is $155,000-$210,000 and again depends on the condition.

Hope this helps!!!

How much will insurance be for an audi r8?

Hello. My dad is going to buy me an audi r8, V10 for my birthday and I will be paying for the insurance. How much would insurance be for a 23 year old male. I currently work as a software engineer and make 92k annually. Will that be enough to cover gas, maintenance, and insurance? I only plan on driving it like on weekends. I use my 370z as a commuter to work which is excellent on gas.

Are there any young Audi R8 owners that could pass advice on how they were able to afford the car?

I'm not that young (40’s). However, I took advantage of a carry trade on an Audi R8 V10 in the secondary market that made it essentially free (not including taxes, fees, insurance and other operating costs) over 2 years. True story. Here is how it worked:One day, I was browsing the Leasebusters website, and found what seemed to be an extraordinary deal to assume the last 2 years of a 3 year lease on an Audi R8 V10 for $2050.91 per month (all figures in CAD). The incumbent lessor had put down $70k upfront in order to reduce the payment to that amount, and was looking to recoup $25k from the person taking over the lease. Therefore, my total cash outlay over 2 years was $2050.91/month x 24 months = $49k (monthly lease) + $25k (upfront) = $74k paid. However, the vehicle purchase option at the end of the lease term was $86,532.75. And the market value of a 3-year-old R8 V10 at that point was more like $160k (the original purchase price was $192,295). Therefore, I could buy the car out and flip it at the end of the lease term and net $160k - $86k = $74k received. This really was the deal of a lifetime. And everything worked exactly as planned, except for one thing. At the end of the lease, after I exercised the purchase option and bought out the lease, I couldn’t bring myself to sell the car and realize the gain! So, I have paid out $160k ($74k + $86k buyout) for the car, and it is currently sitting in my garage depreciating…That said, it is totally worth it. This is a truly enchanting vehicle. Buyers beware: the Audi R8 V10 is extremely difficult to part with!

To afford an audi r8, what kind of job do you need to have?

You need to have a stable good paying job. Although this vehicle does attract the rich this car can still be within reach of the upper Middle-class who tend to drive entry class or prestigious flag ship vehicles such as a BMW 3 series or Infiniti G37 all the way to a BMW 7 series or a Lexus LS. The question is are you willing to spend all that money on a vehicle leased or bought. Considering the fact that car prices around $115-$120,000 the person buying this vehicle should at least be making 6 figures a year in order to purchase such a vehicle or even to lease they should at least be pulling in 100k and up. Jobs that may correlate with such a salary can be high end common jobs such as architects, Independent entrepreneurs,(successful business owners) Doctors, etc etc.

Going to buy an Audi R8?

well let me start off by saying congratulations, many of us cannot even afford something that great. I love the R8

I wouldn't recommend online, i just seriously won't trust online, i would only use online to get the idea of what i am about to buy.

4.2 and 5.2 are 2 different engines

4.2L FSI is the V8 one, Audi RS4 V8
414 bhp @ 7800RPM
torques: 317 lbf @ 4500-6000RPM
0-60: 4.6 sec
top speed: 187 MPH
fuel economy: 12 city 19 highway

5.2L FSI is the V10 one, lamborghini V10
518 bhp @ 8000RPM
torques: 391 lbf @ 6000RPM
0-60: 3.9 sec
top speed: 197 MPH
fuel economy: 11 city 17 highway

fuel economy may change depending upon how you drive

FSI: Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI)

both are great engines, Audi R8's V8 is more reliable and can be used everyday. (well thats what people tell me.)

if your referring to this then this is an excellent choice, interior should be black. if you can get the carbon fiber blade, that will look really cool (just my opinion)

Price:
4.2L manual $113,622
4.2L auto $122,042

5.2L manual $142,962
5.2L auto $151,373

another big downfall with the R8 is the options, the prices are average that i mentioned above to what everyone else would pay. to get it upgraded you need to have a lot of money, be prepared for that.

Good luck purchasing, remember don't drive it like an idiot
