What Is The Best And Healthiest Way To Lose Weightand Become Fit

Best way to lose weight in a month?

So, I'm 19, and I graduated high school this year so I don't have sports anymore so I'm completely lost! Over the summer I got in a really bad habit of partying all night and sleeping all day. So I gained some weight, okay... a lot of weight. around like 12 lbs! I've had a lot of stress too. I just need to get on a routine and take care of myself! I can't believe I let this happen. Well, I just REALLY want to lose these lbs before the holidays so I can look really good for my boyfriend on New Years. I'm so disappointed in myself; there is no excuse for this! Please help me. Besides telling me to get a gym membership, what can I do? good meals to eat? I don't want to be super skinny, I want to be curvy or athletic looking. I want to be healthy! Anorexic isn't healthy either. I want to feel better about myself; and I know I can be prettier than this... I'm going to attach a few photos so you all can see. Please don't be rude.. I'm just asking for some direction.

This is me September 2009 (beginning of senior year age 17): http://de.tinypic.com/r/5dtohg/7

Will Colorguard help me lose weight and become lean?

I've lost a lot of weight over 7th and 8th grade, but I'm finally going into high school as a Freshman! I'm 14 years-old, 5'5" and around 132 lbs. I'm not fat, but I'm not exactly slim either. I know it sounds like I hardly have weight on me (at least that's what everyone says), but I still have a little bit of chubbiness in spaces on my body. I'm training for Colorguard this Summer, so here's my schedule:

July:
Monday 12th, 5pm until 8pm
Tuesday 13th, 5pm until 8 pm
Thursday 15th, 5pm until 8pm

CAMP-July: 22nd through 28th (with the exception of Sunday, the 25th)
From 9am until 5pm everyday.

Plus
BAND CAMP-August 2nd through 11th.
From 9am until 9pm everyday.

Do you think this will help me be fit and healthy, making me drop the last bit of weight I have?

I've been striving to look my best for awhile now, so PLEASE let me know!

Thanks(:

Is plastic surgery an easy way out of becoming fit and healthy?

It just cuts or suctions fat off you, it has nothing to do with fitness or health. It has no cardiovascular benefits, if you don't change you're eating you'll still have problems with insulin resistance/type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol levels, maybe gallbladder, liver and intestinal issues. Because it's an easy fix and teaches you nothing about healthy diet or exercise, you are extremely prone to putting all the fat back on, and sometimes it comes back lumpy and weird. Bariatric surgery is entirely different, these people are hundreds of pounds overweight and surgery for them is a life saving measure. And I think people who have lost a lot of weight should have their excess skin taken off to feel better about themselves. But someone who wants lipo to have thinner thighs? Ridiculous, expensive, taking unnecessary risks with their health.

How can I become energetic, healthy, fit and feel light as a teenager?

To lose weight effectively and become fit and healthy as a teen, here’s a few tips you should adopt:Avoid sugary drinks. Soda and all other soft drinks are tasty - it is a side to that is always to be ordered along with your main course. However, if you wish to cut down fat and lose weight effectively as a teen, you’ve got to avoid the excess calories from these soft drinks entirely. What’s more, plain water are much cheaper (or in some cafes, free) and you can save more money at the same time.Ditch the junk food. Potato chips, chocolates, sweets - all these are the top choices for consumption when hungry. Thus, if you are keen to lose weight as a teen, it would be best to clean your drawer/closet and dispose of these excessive calories you may intake entirely.Exercise regularly. According to World Health Organisation, appropriate practice of physical activity assists young people to: develop healthy musculoskeletal tissues (i.e. bones, muscles and joints); develop a healthy cardiovascular system (i.e. heart and lungs); develop neuromuscular awareness (i.e. coordination and movement control); maintain a healthy body weight. Thus, if you want to keep yourself lean and shred those excess fat, a combination of regular aerobic exercises and weight lifting workouts are highly recommended.Have sufficient amount of sleep. It is always tempting to stay up late and talk to your crush on the phone or surf the web/game your way through the late night - though you have to wake up early the next day. Having insufficient sleep can cause you to make poor food choices, resulting in increased chances of a binge and even weight gain.During your teenage years, it is best to avoid following a strict diet plan as you are still growing. How do I get a fit body and lose weight?

Step 1Change your diet. You must focus on eating high-protein foods that are low in calories and saturated fat. Eat a protein, a vegetable and a fruit for every meal possible. Try to eat every few hours to help keep your metabolism high and your muscles fed properly.Step 2Begin a weight-training routine. Use a high-quality weight bench set, dumbbells and an exercise ball (for working the core of the body). Start with light weights to avoid injury. Each workout should last 30 to 45 minutes, and you should do three sets of each exercise. The ideal number of repetitions is 12 to 15 per set; use enough weight so that you can do no more than this number of reps.Step 3Work out three times a week with a rest day between each workout. Muscles need time to heal after being broken down during a resistance workout. Focus on two or three muscle groups per workout. For example, Day 1 could involve chest and back muscles; Day 2 could be devoted to legs and abdominal muscles; and Day 3 could focus on arms and shoulders.Step 4Consume a whey or soy protein shake immediately after each workout. Ideally, you should take in about 50 grams of protein after a workout. Drink a protein shake each morning in addition to the post-workout shakes.Step 5Follow this diet and exercise program for at least four to six weeks, and the results will be noticeable. You will have a much more toned body, and your body weight will be about the same as when you started the new routine.Learn more in : Lose weight

I'm 16 and I want to be fit. How can I lose weight and build muscles on my own?

Everyone has their one problems, I felt awkward when I was younger beacuse I hit puberty very young, never wanted that to happen, and felt very weird around people at my age, what you have to know, is that everything is temporary, puberty will go, and you'll be an adult, and that's the way you are, you hit puberty at 15, and there's nothing wrong with it , just feel comfortable about yourself. Now, If you want to be healthier,it is a good purpose, I think puberty is the best time to define your life, and know who  you want to be , and what habits do you want to develop, and practice, I would say that for getting healthy and fit, the only thing you need to have is the will to do it, just do it cause you'll feel better, don't do it cause you'll make someone feel better about yourself, picture yourself when you reach your goal, picture yourself when you reach further than your goal, think what would you do, how would you be, and If you want to get to that, don't hesitate to start, as I said before, the will do it is all you need, analize your diet, get to know what's healthy and what's not healthy for you, start eating like you should, tell your mom that you want this or that kind of food, cause you have a goal, and you are comitted to it, ask for proffesional help if you want, and start exercising, you don't need to get a fancy gym membership, just do what's affordable, and what seems fun for you, tell your dad you want to go running with him, go running alone, go to the park, if you don't do well at PE, search for sports, maybe you'll find one that you really love, and last but not least, have faith, imagine how would it be if you achieved your goal.

Losing weight? 320 pounds at 16 years old?

All my life I’ve been overweight. But just in the last year, I gained 90 pounds. My best friend died from ovarian cancer. I also suffer with depression & mood disorder so that’s kind of the icing on the cake. I really want to lose weight. I’ve been having horrible anxiety lately, so many panic attacks and I know it’s because of my weight. I did not have this problem two years ago when I weighed around 230, even then I was super confident in myself. Now I weigh 320 pounds, I’m 5”8’. I’m a girl and I’m only 16. I honestly really wanna become a plus size model, but I wanna get back down to 230 at least. Sometimes I go several days without eating, just relying on water & weight loss pills. Then other days I give up and get so depressed and I just binge. When I go to the gym I have to burn at least 1,000 calories or I hate myself. Nothing is working. My low self esteem is sky rocketing & I don’t know how much longer I can go without harming myself even more. Somebody please help. I’m desperate. I need to know the fastest but healthiest way to lose weight.
