What Is The Best Korean Dictionary On The Internet

Best English-Korean/Korean-English Dictionary?

I'd recommend Naver's Korean-English dictionary as well, as far as an online dictionary goes.

If you are looking for a paper dictionary, Essence is a very popular and extensive brand of Korean dictionary. I have a set of the large English-Korean and Korean-English dictionaries, but the paper dictionary I use the most is called "Little Giant." (Sorry, the site for it that I found was only in Korean.)

Romanization in Korean is quite varied, so a dictionary that romanizes the written Korean would be almost completely useless and a waste of money.

The great thing about written Korean, called hangul 한글, is that it's SUPER easy to learn, and it's almost completely phonetic, so if you can write it, you can speak it too. It is said that hangul is so simple and precise that the wise can master it in one morning and even the fool can learn them in ten days.

Good luck. I hope this helped.

What is the best Danish-English dictionary on the internet?

There are a lot of dictionaries out there. Most of the time, if you just type “Danish-English Dictionary”, you will be presented with a lot of dictionaries, and many of them are also free! But as a student living in Denmark, I would recommend the site:Ordbogen.comNot only does it have a Danish-English Dictionary, but there’s also many more! It’s so user friendly, and easy to use. The only “downside” is that you can only use it ten times, and then you have to pay a little. One day-subscription costs 9DKK and Four Days costs 19DKK.Hope this helped!

What website is the best to learn korean?

it obviously depends on how you like to learn and how much you already know bt here are some websites that really helped me.

http://www.genkienglish.net/speakkorean/
this site is very good for getting started, learning hangul and hints and tips for learning. it has a fun approach to learning and does as a learning by mistake technique (which suited me well). although you may not think this is very effective to start with im usre that you will rember the stuff of this easy.
the only problem though is that its material is quite limited, but its definately good as a beginner site :)

http://www.byki.com
this is good to expnad your vocabulary a bit more and get you used to reading and typing hangul characters. it also lets you learn and remember things well without actually realising, but incase you feel you have forgotten you can always get byki to refresh words that you have learnt.
although it comes with word lists preinstalled you can alos get them from the website :)

btw...
rember to learn it in full screen otherwise you cant see all of the hangul.
also if you download more lists dont forget to press run otherwise it wont convert to a byki file.
i suggest that u download it as it is free :) just say no to upgrading unless you want to pay.

What are the best free IOS app for learning Korean?

I use an app called Memrise. It's not specifically for language but it is pretty amazing. There are different levels of learning from the basics and learning how to read Hangul characters to composing sentences with pronunciation. You can set daily reminders for when to come back and you can also use it on your computer but smartphone is easier. I've used it for about 3 months now and I find myself watching Korean videos and recognizing characters and rrecognizing words. I'm not exactly proficient yet, but I'm getting there.

1. PLECOPleco is one of the most popular Chinese-English dictionaries in the app store. The app features a clean, fairly intuitive, easy-to-use design. In the same search bar, you can type either pinyin for Chinese phrases, or English words. The app is smart and immediately ranks the most commonly used and searched for phrases at the top.2. HANPING APPHanping is the app that we wish was available in iOS. It offers a chic, colorful design and most importantly, a free Chinese handwriting recognition tool.3.LINE DICTIONARY (FORMERLY NCIKU)The famous Nciku online dictionary was acquired by Line (a group messaging app similar to WhatsApp) at the end of 2014. It appears to be replaced by a sub-par version of itself.4. YOUDAO DICTIONARYYouDao is the Merriam-Websters of Chinese dictionaries. While it may be hard to use for beginners and intermediate speakers, it’s perfect for advanced Chinese learners. Keep in mind that YouDao was made for Chinese users.5. GOOGLE TRANSLATEOf course, everyone already knows of Google Translate. The easiest way to find out "how to say ___ in Chinese" is to enter it in Google's search bar. The translation will automatically pop up. Google Translate is great for phrases and short sentences.

What are the best textbooks to learn Korean?

Once you’ve mastered the alphabet the next thing you need to do is equip yourself with a good quality textbook! Having a good resource to start learning with and continue learning with is a must! One thing to remember is that when trying to learn a new language effectively, you need to work on all 4 of the skills, reading, writing, speaking, and listening… Also a 5th one that I like to add is CULTURE! The Korean language is one that is extremely deeply rooted in culture, so having a resource that includes/ integrates a culture section into the textbook is a must.Textbook Series by Ross King of University of British Columbia! These are a great series to learn with, and easy to buy!!!
