What Is The Best Reference System For A Mathematical Document

What are the reference books to prepare for GATE chemical engineering? What are some tips?

Everyone has their own choice of books. The two books that I used the most were1.) Chemical Engineering for GATE -Ram Prassad 2.) Arihant's Chapter-wise Previous Solved Paper: Chemical EnggOne more book I followed for objective type questions was the book by O P Gupta (Although not as much as the previous two). For text books I used1.) Mass- BK Dutta2.) Heat-BK Dutta3.) Fluid- NPTEL video lectures by Dr V. Shankar4.) Thermo- Smith Vennes5.) Process Control- Stephanopoulos 6.) Chemical Rxn Engg- LevenspielFor Minor topics Like Mechanical Operation, Economics, Process design etc I used theory segment of Ram Prassad. I will suggest follow the text book that you are most comfortable in, it hardly matters. As far as tips are concerned - I can tell you three mantras that worked perfectly for me1.) Make a Formulae Book- I started preparing by the mid of November while I was working with an MNC. So first 30-35 days I studied the major topics ( The six topics listed above) 3-4 hours daily and made a formula book out of it. Mostly I solved examples from the text books I have listed. I would suggest the same for you too-Don't spend much time reading as it wastes a lot of time and energy, instead try solving text book examples and exercises, that will clear your doubts.2.) Practice Problems- Do as many problems as you can do. During the first 30-35 days of my preparation- I would complete studying a topic within 3-4 days and then devote 1-2 days for practicing problems. By mid of December, I was mostly solving problems from ( Ram Prassad, Previous Years Papers, OP Gupta). If I got stuck in some problem, I would refer to my formulae book. If I couldn't get it in my formulae book, I would go to text books and/or NPTEL.3.) Keep Refreshing and updating your concepts- Read your formulae book over and over again. Besides, whenever you find some important concept or trick while solving problems, note it down in your formulae book. One more point, which may not be that important yet I would suggest, is to join some online test series. The online test series that are available for chemical engineering are not very useful yet they give you an insight of the exam web interface and also of the online calculator. Which book is good for mathematics for gate exam preparation?

Made easy publication - Engineering mathematics. This book alone is sufficient to prepare for GATE and ESE.For theory and additional practice, following reference books can be followed:N P Bali - Engineering mathematics vol. 1, 2&3B S Grewal - Higher engineering mathematicsErwin Kreyszig**- Advance engineering mathematics** I studied this book in IISc, Bangalore. Good coverage of differential equations, laplace transform and other engineering mathematics topics. The language is simple and concepts are nicely explained. Don’t bother to look it up, if you are short on time.

How to reference Wikipedia according to Harvard System?

Wikipedia should actually never be used as a reference, as it can be updated by anyone. They do provide citations throughout the article that can be very helpful. Look up the references at the bottom of the article and use those.

If this doesn't matter and sounds like too much work... the second format you listed is correct ;)

What is the best app for taking math notes?

This is the best app ever, which every top 10 students use !This app work only on your data. It works when you go to classes and take all those important things which are delivered by your teacher and note these things on your copy. and after all app comes in the hard form. And simple self made app and for notes, no other can be the best app. :)So buddy don’t waste your time in searching these types of things, because a lot of students are working on their’s app. and some of those, already have made it. and keep this thing in your mind, (which is said by Sachin Tendulkar ) - “There is no short path of success.”Happy Learning! and Don’t waste your time in these type of apps. Is the Quadraflex Reference: 450R a good receiver?

A lot depends on the condition and how much you pay...Its a fairly good receiver not top end but probably compares to the best receivers that Radio Shack was offering at the time...It sold mostly in the California Market but was made in Japan....if its working and in good condition should be a good choice if the price is right...My choice for a better quality receiver might be a Denon; Rotel; Nakamichi or NAD receiver but if its less expensive, then it would be a good choice....
