Well, provisional merit list basically means final merit list. If, anyone of the students in this merit list, doesn’t wish to join or leaves for another college, then the students in the 1st merit list will be selected to join in the final merit list and if it is seen that many in the 1st merit list have joined different colleges already, the 2nd merit list will be looked at and if it is also seen that the 2nd has the same result the college management will then look into the 3rd and finally a selected list will be brought forward by the management.Best of luck!

Is there any chance to get in the SBI Clerk 2018’s reserved list if I lost a provisional allotment by 3 marks?

Sorry, there could be no chance.Because, many candidates got .20,.50, .75 and so on in decimals. So in your case there might be more than 20 candidates in the cut off margin. Since it is state level and category waiting list, chances would be very low to get final call…Good chances for candidates who only missed cut off with less than 1 mark.

Similarly, if you’ll be in the reserve list of the upcoming IBPS PO 6, you’ll be allotted a bank on 31st March, 2018.

Did the reserve list candidates get an opportunity at bank exams?

A2AI have never appeared in any bank exam But here is what i can say about itReserve list basically is a waiting list which offers a chance to get allotted on the basis of the list But sometimes candidates do not get listed in the provisional list so; there is an reserve list for those candidates who would be considered for the allotment in next round of allocations .The banks have the right to hire candidates from a reserve list. This list has 10 percent of the vacancies under each category. It does not however, guarantee recruitment or allotment for all the candidates in this list. Also, in case two or more candidates have obtained the same score, then the order of merit has been decided on the basis of date of birth of the candidate. Thus, the candidate who is senior in such an instance is placed before the candidate who is junior or has better academic score in case of both being freshers. One should remember that chances of getting a job via reserve category depend purely on the extra vacancies that might be available after the entire recruitment process for the year end, and no one can predict that part.

Why to wait till 2018, u already cracked one exam you have probably a job in hand why dont prepare hard and get selected this year itself.
