Obama didn’t “start a war in Libya.” He supported the United Nations Resolution to create a no-fly zone and to prevent a genocide. GW didn’t much care about working WITH the U.N. 2. Obama is not “continuing” the wars. He’s working to end them properly. He has removed 150,000 combat troops from Iraq. And he has done just what he said he’d to in Afghanistan. His campaign promises have been kept. But surely, you understand that war is a messy business and it’s not so easy to just up and leave - not that he promised he could. 3. He tried to close Guantanamo, but found severe right-wing opposition and fear-mongering, and has not yet been able to do so. 4. Bush started a torture program. Obama ended it. 5. Tax cuts for the rich were only extended because Republicans held unemployment checks hostage in order to get the extension. 6. Bush and Republicans didn’t want 911 First Responders to get healthcare. Obama did, and they succeeded in passing the bill. 7. Bush didn’t believe in Equal Pay for Equal Work. Obama singed the “Fair Pay Act.” 8. Bush deregulated Wall STreet, which led to the collapse in 2008. Obama and Dems did Wall Street Reform, which Republicans have fought every step of the way -- right up to today, by blocking and stalling the appointment of a director for the Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Wall Street hates Obama right now. 9. Bush couldn’t pronounce the word “nuclear.” 10. Bush favored “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” Obama repealed it. Etc.
