What Is The Fine For Driving In Missouri With No Insurance

Can a 16 year old drive parent's car without insurance?

I am 16 years old, I already got my license for about 3 months. I do not have a car but I drive occasionally, using my sister's or my mom's car.

One day, I drove my mom's car to school and my dad was very upset. He claimed that I can not drive her car because I do not have insurance yet. (There is insurance on ALL cars except my NAME is not on it). Since my name is not on the insurance, can I still drive her car?

Does boating while intoxicated go on your driving record in missouri?

Was told by a lawyer is rather vague. If you were told by an Attorney you have hired or that is representing you, that would be different.
That is a state by state thing, in some states it can or does, in some it does not, I suggest that you speak with an Attorney that is licensed to practice law in that state and get it right.
You can usually ask the Local USCG AUX and they can tell you whom to ask.

Caught driving without a license (only permit) in Missouri?

Quit worrying. The cop cut you a break just like he said. But man up and pay for the ticket you caused your friend to get. Hope you learned a valuable lesson.

I was pulled over recently for speeding in Missouri, for 25+ mph over speed. Now I have to appear in court. This is my first speeding ticket or any traffic violation. What are my options and what is the best and worst case scenario for me?

Missouri appears to have a careless and imprudent speeding law. Missouri’s Careless and Imprudent (Reckless) Driving Laws and Penalties | DrivingLaws.org This is a Class B misdemeanor and has penalties that can include 6 months in jail and $1000 fines. This can be applied to any speeding 20mph and over. That you have a mandatory court date, you probably have been charged with a Class B misdemeanor. But, I can’t see your ticket and I don’t know about the particulars in Missouri, but an attorney there would know.My advice to you is to at least consult with an attorney BEFORE you go to court. Best case is that you allow an attorney to represent you in court. Today would be a really good day to make that appointment. You need an attorney who practices in the district where you have to appear in court and deals with traffic cases. She should be familiar with the court system and the judges there. If you are convicted of a Class B misdemeanor, you may not be able to hold a job that requires a driver’s license! Yes, the attorney will cost you, but a conviction on a misdemeanor charge may affect your employment possibilities. Plus, you really want to avoid jail.

i wouldn't do it. there's no proof that is your car, unless you have the car title. and they can repossess the car because they think its stolen.

Does Missouri allow court supervision for traffic violations?

I recently got a speeding ticket in Harrison county
Missouri, north of KC not far from the Iowa border. (82 in a 70)
My question is; does Missouri allow court
supervision for traffic violations? Here in Illinois
the court will allow court supervision, (for a 1st offense) someone with a
traffic ticket can plead guilty and attend a 4 hour
traffic class. The fine is paid and the violation is not reported to the drivers insurance company. Does
Missouri have a similar law? Procedure?

Will just 1 speeding ticket make my auto insurance go up?

I just got the ticket today it's $165. I'm going to pay it. I'm 18 and the speed limit is 35 mph I was going 55 mph. This is my first ticket. So if I never get any other tickets will it affect my insurance rate? It's just one so I hope it doesn't go up. And if so, how much will it go up? I think if u got a whole bunch of tickets it will go up but not just one right? I live in missouri and I have state farm if that helps.

Is there a penalty for driving without a physical license?

I was driving a car with an expired registration, and expired inspection (you have to get the inspection to get the registration, to help force people to keep registered).  It was a Saturday morning, and I was going to get inspected.  No really.I manged to leave my wallet at home.  No really.  When I was pulled over, I provided the name, address and DOB of the owner (not me), and my name, address and DOB.  Last name of the driver and owner matched, as did the addresses.  After what felt like an hour (when you are stressing), he came back for a ticket or no insurance (it was in the wallet too), and no license.  Presenting them both at the police station within two weeks got both dismissed.  He could have towed and impounded the car, but didn't.  I went home, got the wallet, went back out, and got inspected and registered. So long as you are not otherwise interesting to the police, you shouldn't have trouble.  If you are interesting to them (I'll leave out the obvious reasons), then they can do lots to you.  So carry it at all times.
