In the movie that is what is most important to him. You cannot determine what is most important to you by asking others, because so many others will have so many different opinions. Me I think my time is the most important I will spend money to save my time. My father is the opposite he will spend an inordinate amount of time just to save a buck. The sad truth is almost any of these focuses will still leave you with a life filled with regret because no matter what you do hindsight will always show you what you missed out on while you were focusing on something else. So I will say all are important, and finding a balance between all of them is what is most important in life. If you focus on saving time then you will always be in a hurry. If you focus on money you will always feel like you never can get ahead. If you focus on love then when love turns from a roaring fire to a slow burn you will feel like you lost out on other chances to make money or save time. If you focus on family then you may find you never took time for yourself. You see all have their benefits and detractors, and to focus on any one of them for the entirety of your life will leave you empty and full of regrets for what you lost in pursuit of one goal. So find a balance that you can live with and sadly it has to be a balance that you find for your self no one else can determine it for you.

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. Desire is the key to motivation, but it's the determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek. Unless you're willing to have a go, fail miserably, and have another go, success won't happen. You have achieved success if you have lived well, laughed often and loved much. Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
How do you motivate yourself to want things?
Answers like "you can't" only show lack of imagination and knowledge. The problem: I don't want much in life. I figured I can really do wonders when I want something and go for it. Like, I'm an A+ student in a college, got a black belt in taekwondo in under 3 years just because was really interested in it. Yet these are rare cases, and since I don't want much, I don't do much. I seem to have what I need, I rarely go outside my comfort zone, since I feel there's no need to do that, and I don't want to create stress in my life. I seem to make it written all over my mind that challenge=fight against something, so I don't like it. I actually think that this could be a part of the problem but I also know that there's more to it. From analyzing myself, I've come to a conclusion that I don't really care for things if they're outside of my interest zone. But I go through like a bulldozer if it's something I like.
