Kohls Drug Test Process?
My cousin has an interview for kohls on Thursday & he does smoke marijuana on the daily. I was under the impression they drug test you right after the interview if you are hired, but he's sayin' he's heard it's after orientation. Does anyone know exactly how the drug text process works? Do you go to a lab within like 24 hours of being hired or is it right after? Is it urinal or oral?

Had a successful interview at Kohl's a few days ago. Got a call right after the interview from them saying they are offering me employment and they just need to do a background check which will take between 7-10 days. Am I hired? Do I just wait for them to call me back? Should I call to check on the status and show interest in the job?

I went in for a group interview at Kohls last Thursday and I did extremely well, I really stood out at the interview. Before we left they said if you made the cut they will call you the same day or tomorrow. They called me the same day and asked if I could come in the next day and sign some paper work and subject yourself for a background check and drug screening. I filled all the forms out and they said we'll call you after we get the results back. I made a 'follow up' phone call today and the woman I spoke with said they just got the results back today and they need to call and check a few references. What should I expect now? How long does the hiring process at kohls usually take? Thanks.
Kohls job offer process?
I had my interview today it was in a group but only one other person went pretty good and she offered us the job and even told us how much we would be getting paid and said we would get an offer email to send in our background check forms but i still haven't received anything and my application status still says under consideration does it usually take a while to receive the offer email am i just being paranoid lol
How long does it take to be hired at Kohls?
I have not worked at Kohls, so I can not say what their specific situation is. However, having hired people in the past, I can tell you that companies will want to review all key applicants before making a decision. Some companies will take several days, others several weeks. However, you appear to have applied as a general clerk. I would call the person you interviewed with this Friday if you have not heard back. Ask them when they may think a decision will be made and then wait them out. A large company like Kohls has to be sure to cross their T's and dot their I's as they are a potential target for discrimination lawsuits. Perhaps the HR people are busy, or the manager is out of town. 3 days is not too late to be out of it. You may have to wait a couple of weeks before you hear from them again. But again, if it were me, I would call on Thursday or Friday.

There is a new Kohl's store opening near my hometown, and both of my brothers and I want to apply. One brother and I have already scheduled an interview (coming up in a few weeks). But, does that mean they will consider us both for positions? Granted, we applied for different positions-but all is naught if they don't hire family. So my question is, does Kohl's hire siblings? (We've applied for different jobs, and different times, our old employer hired one of my brothers and I)
