I park my bike in one of the railway stations in Chennai and travel to office by train. The charge for parking per day is Rs.6. I was lazy to carry exact change everyday so I opted for a monthly pass. The guy incharge in the bike stand told me, as you are applying for the first time, you should pay Rs.200. I did the same. But the slip given mentioned only Rs.125. And he also mentioned monthly charges from next month would be Rs.150. For 20 week days of travel it should cost just Rs.120 a month. I am sure the original amount could be different. These people are utilizing the peak hour traffic in bike stand queues to make money. Its not about the money. I get upset when I could not do anything about a social injustice. Thousands of people are cheated everyday/month. Is there a forum/department to complain? and would that be effective?
