Starbucks Employees - Minimum hours per week?
I work at a Starbucks in Louisiana. I don't think there is a minimum hours per week, at least that I'm aware of. We have a guy that works about 8-10 hours a week, only working about 2 hours a night. It works well for him because he has a full time job and goes to school part time. We also have a couple of older ladies that work there and they work 20 hrs a week to qualify for insurance benefits. I'm sure if you just talked to the manager, they would be willing to work with you. I know mine does. Hope this helps.

well……you know the saying “been there, done that”SO, in this case, lets say I knew a guy who did it. keep this between you and me, but he worked more than 20 hrs as a full time student. He took the risk because thats what he does. he does stupid things. He worked minimum 40 hrs/week.However, he did not get flagged or deported. In fact, it worked out just fine for him. Do not follow my advice “wink wink” ( seriously don’t !)If you really do need the money and extra hours, don’t do what he did.
