What is the stupidest thing you ever saw happen in a kitchen?

There are already great answers here. I'll include mine. I once went to a friend's house. She lived in a farm and wasn't well off financially, but I didn't care, we would go take a hike that afternoon and go fishing at night — fun stuff. During the day, after having harvested some strawberries, we went to wash them in the sink. The microwave was directly above, and was being used. My friend was about to turn on the faucet when I screamed "Don't!!!!" She looked at me, surprised. I explained that there were stripped cables going from the microwave to the sink and she would have shocked herself when the water hit, since the microwave was running. I tried convincing her mother to buy a new one, I could help pay a portion of it. Or visit someone to repair it. She refused. I don't know why. It may not be the stupidest thing but certainly not the brightest.

What is the most ridiculous thing that has ever happened to you?

(Warning: small bit of harsh language in this answer)The most ridiculous thing that comes to mind is the time I was working at a cafe in Jamaica Plain, MA. A friend of a friend (let’s call him “Mark”), who I had spent a small amount of time with but was amicable toward, stopped in to order a sandwich. He looked a little down.I asked him how his day was going, and he said he didn’t want to talk about it. I said something along the lines of being here if he ever needed to get anything out, and was prepared to leave it at that.“I don’t know you like that,” he said while looking down at the counter.“You can get to know me,” I replied encouragingly.“I don’t *want* to know you like that,” he said before walking away.This got reactions from my coworkers who witnessed it, all of which knew him. Something about how his reaction was “harsh” or “savage”. This only added to my embarrassment. I wasn’t sure what part of my character or reputation had caused him to react this way.Mark returned to the counter five minutes later to give some variation of a halfhearted apology. I’m not quite sure what came over me when I said this—maybe it was anger—but I looked up at him and said “It’s okay; I’ve already lost respect for you.”I can’t remember what he said as a comeback, but afterward, he went to the end of the counter to talk to one of my coworkers about me (who also happened to be my friend). I told the coworker I needed to take a five-minute break.Immediately, Mark turned to me and said, “Yeah, you take a five, you stupid-ass sl*t!”Keep in mind, this person barely knew anything about me from the little time we spent together. Despite this, he continued to scream obscenities at me from across the cafe, well within earshot of customers who just stood there and watched because they didn’t know what else to do. I left the front, and eventually my supervisor kicked him out.Later, I found out that he acted so harshly toward me because I “looked like his annoying neighbor”.Needless to say, he is not allowed back in that cafe.

It was one of the easiest papers “Business Communication & Soft Skills” and yes, I was chilled out. But anyways, exams are exams!Let’s rewind: I wanted to watch the first day first show of Wonder Woman (2017 movie) in the theater. So when the movie was released, I started crying! To know the reason, welcome to the next paragraph. ;)Eylex Sambalpur (the movie theater) was not screening this movie because they had planned for Baywatch (2017 movie) and some other unknown hollywood movie. They have a rule that they can not screen more than two hollywood movies at a time. :(Content: I entered the examination hall and I had a good idea about the wifi speed there. So I started downloading the movie from my smartphone and kept that in the bag with the volume as low as possible. We were told to keep the bags under the board (3 meters away from me). And then we started writing.The whole time I was waiting for a beep sound from my smartphone which would point that the movie is downloaded. After around 50 minutes, I heard the beep sound. Yes, there was an unbelievably pin-drop silence in the hall. Believe me, my ass started jumping from its position to move it and watch the movie after hearing that beep.I somehow completed the exam in 1 hour 30 minutes (3 hours was the alloted time) and went home straight at the speed of lightening. I forgot that humans need to take food and water for survival because the only thing I needed was to watch the movie.After the movie: I started weeping at the scream of Gal Gadot (actor, model) when Chris Pine (actor) dies (don’t judge me).
