What Is The Movie About The Kid Who Found Lucky Basketball Shoes

How many hours of basketball should a kid practice to make it to the nba?

You probably have heard of the 10,000 hour rule from Malcolm Gladwell’s theory which states in order to master something you need to practice 10,000 hours. This sounds very good on paper, but it is actually without any scientific data to back it up. If Malcolm is reading my answer he will defend it by saying it doesn’t apply to sports because sports is influenced by “genetics” and “talent”.The average NBA player stands 6 feet 7 inch tall. There are plenty of oversea players who play just as well if not better than current NBA players just because they were undrafted, they are not in the NBA. One player comes to my mind right now isMike James, 6 feet 2 inch tall plays in the Turkish Pro League, he can do things just as well as any guard in the NBA, but he is NOT in the NBA. (UPDATE: 2017, Phoenix Suns had signed Mike James and started him after 6 years of him playing overseas)There is the interesting cases of this so called “talent” Considering the most of elite NBA players are drafted out of high school, or “1 year and done” in college. (Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Lebron James. John Wall). Lebron James, even at age 16 he was better than majority of the NBA players back then. Seventh Woods - another young prospect who will probably in the NBA, at age 14 he was doing things that 99% of population of his age cannot do. Did he somehow require less practice? My reasoning is strange but compelling: My research reveals that these elite superstars athletes do not use their feet the same way that regular people do, overtime the different configuration of the foot (Hyperarch mechanism) morphs the feet (different degree to different people) gives them extraordinary athletic ability through biological, physical, neurological augmentations.NOW, back to you - how many hours do you need? knowing what I know, it DOES NOT Matter how many hours you practice, you will NOT make it to the NBA or play anywhere near NBA players’s level because of the neurological blockades placed by your shoe since you were a baby. You are living in a real neurological MATRIX created by the shoe, unless you use the same mechanism that these elite athletes use, NO AMOUNT of practice will get you there because your glutes won’t be fully functional, your feet won’t be strong, your fascia connective tissue will be weak, you will develop knee pain and eventually you will “Self-destruct” simply because your body cannot take the rigorous activity.

How can I grow taller (I'm fourteen)?

First of all thank you for asking a question about me. This will be my first answer in quora about myself.Okay, so first of all I wana tell u that genetic is always a first priority but handwork always show it's results. In my case, my family parents are of medium height around 5ft to 5′5ft, and others like my uncles and other relatives are 3inch more in height. Now, I had joined gym after completing my 10th with few of my friends. What happened was, we got a very good trainer who told us not to use heavy weights and do as much free hands excersices and light weight lifting as much as u can(if u wana know my suggested exercises, then please look at my previous answers). I was a very obedient student from my childhood, so I just did whatever my trainer told me to do. But my friends got influenced by their co-partners and started lifting heavy weights. They used to skipped the free hand excersices, started taking supplements and steroids, and used to hide from the trainer. We used to have a specific time for excersies like 1hr in a day and 4–5days in a week. But they used to spend 2hrs in the gym and used to come everyday. When we passed out our 12th I left the gym with height around 5′9 and a good body physic. And my friends, they didn't got their height more than 5ft and moreover they back pain, ankel pain, shoulder ache, one of my friend had a very bad accident while lifting weights now he can't even lift his hand. One thing I want to tell u and others who will read this. Please have patients and work hard don't think about results and success and goals. Just live ur life happily.I hope u understood my story. What are some TV shows that involve hockey?

There are a few movies:

1.) Slap Shot - this one's like the Hockey Movie Bible. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. It's from the director of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

2.) Youngblood - 80's film with Rob Lowe. Lot of Hockey there.

3.) Mystery, Alaska - Created by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Boston Legal and a Bruins Fan), this is about an Alaskan team that gets a chance to play against the New York Rangers.

4.) Miracle - Kurt Russell plays Herb Brooks in a movie on the USA Olympic Hockey Team that upset the Russians in '80.

5.) Hockey Mom (Or in Canada, "Chicks with Sticks") - an interesting film with girls that are out to show they can play just as good as the guys. Filmed out in Canada, too. :)

6.) Wayne's World. Not a hockey movie itself, but it has Hockey in it. (It was how I was introduced to the sport).

Shows:

Denis Leary is a Bruins fan, and there's usually a bit of Hockey that shows up in his show, "Rescue Me". I think that "The Office" also had a hockey related episode, as Steve Carrell plays pick up Hockey with some of his friends on his spare time from making movies.

That's all I can think of. Hope that helps.

Poll: Random teen questions please answer?

I bet u , no one will actually read all of those nether like answer them .
Good luck

What is it like to be tall in India? What problems are faced?

I am 6 feet 3 inches tall.I am too much frustrated with this height.I can't find shoes. I am too much concerned as being a middle class Fellow, I can't afford much. With a low budget it's nearly impossible to get 13 UK size shoes.Look, this is a slipper of size 11UK. Still my foot touches the road.I am only using one pair of shoes from last 3 years as I couldn't find any other pair. Still searching. In my SSB Interviews I had to wear sports shoes under formal dress. Every a time I went in confrence, it was an embarassing moment for me.I am regular traveller in sleeper coach buses. I am really tired of travelling in buses. Every bus is a headache for me.When I book sitting seat, my legs touch the front seat. Hence, I end up getting a back pain. When I book a sleeper, again my legs don't fit their. Hence, I end up getting a back pain again. Now I don't book any seats, I sleep in the gallery on the floor in night keeping all my shyness away. Atleast I don't get back pain.Again frustrating.Being tallest fellow of my college group, I am often used as a selfie stick by my friends. And I hate taking selfies.Again frustrating. When you are in public, people give a strange stare. And they often judge you as an arrogant Fellow who is proud of his height and weight.Too frustrating. In coaching, whenever I sit in front row, everyone starts shouting as they are unable to see. I am also unable to see because of weak eyesight so I prefer seats. But had to go back because of whole class.Again frustrating.Only I am happy because in my home town nearly every fellow is above 6 ft. So we can move freely and won't feel frustrated.Hope I could donate my height.Jai Hind ❤

I am a 21 year-old male but too short (5' 4"). I am constantly referred to as the kid and I feel that I am never really taken seriously. Girls don't like me. Can I do anything to improve my height?

There was a short guy who merely conquered the whole europe, his name is Napolen. Have you seen the HBO product "the game of throne". There is a role named Tyrion. In real world, people aren't judge you by your common characters. People judge you by your special characters.
