Why do wrestlers wear underwear when they wrestle ?
I am a fan of pro-wrestling but i always wonder if its necessary for 2 male wrestlers to wear small underwear when wrestling each other. Whatever the case it is very odd. In the NBA the short shorts became longer shorts, in the NFL the uniforms changed, in baseball, the pants became a little baggier, but in pro-wrestling the underwear tights stayed the same !!! WHY havent they changed through time as other sports ? Even in the UFC most fighters wear shorts. or other form of tights. but not alot wear underwear-like tights anymore, if any. (I said most fighters)

My boyfriend wrestled. He wore boxer-briefs. Don't wear boxers. If they show out of the bottom of your spandex the ref might take away a team point. Boxers also don't hold the man parts in place as well. P.S. Don't go commando like some are saying unless you want people to be able to basically see your penis.
