What Is The Name Of This Mspa Character

Does the name you have effect your personality?

Many of you might be thinking the answer is blatantly obvious, that yes, of course, names influence personalty, but does it really? Is it solely the name which you’ve been given that determines your personality, or is it the society that you grew up in?Take, for instance, a very unique name mixed with a very unique girl; the name clearly embodies the girl’s personality. Anyone that meets her would not be surprised in the least that this name was given to this girl. That her personality mirrored the true aspects and uniqueness of her name. What about a more common name for a more common boy? The boy goes throughout life not pushing too hard on both the law or society. He is normal and has a very normal name. His personality, like the unique girl’s, fits so perfectly with his name that it’s no wonder he has that common name.Plus, when meeting a person, usually the name of the person fits that personality and appearance. The name truly embodies the person who possesses it.But what about people with names that really don’t fit them physically or emotionally? If the idea of the name affecting the personality was true, why isn’t this sort of person also affected by their name? When picking names, what’s the most important part of the process? The parents. This may seem a bit shallow, as the name is made for the child, but it’s true. A parent isn’t going to name their child something they consider “unattractive” or downright “unfit.”Therefore, the parents are picking a name they find personally attractive. It not only embodies their ideology of a perfect child, but it fits their family.Children grow up creating their personality, true, but parents have a huge impact on the person their child becomes. Because of this, the child may be similar to their parents and this causes the name of the person to fit “perfectly.” A unique mother picking a unique name for her child will more than likely create a unique girl, not because of the name but because the mother.Of course, not all children end up like their parents. Wouldn’t this then explain the name not fitting the child? If the personality of both of the parents and child are extremely different, the name might not necessarily fit the child. So, do names affect your personalty? Perhaps, but more than likely not. More than likely, it’s because of the family, not the name, that helps create the personality of the child. Thanks®

Are there any Homestuck RP places?

Well, I've been using Facebook. There's a pretty good community of Homestuck canon roleplayers and fantrolls, and it's easy enough to start - just start a roleplaying account, friend a ton of other roleplayers, and start posting on their walls. (Pretty much every character has a Facebook roleplaying account - we've even gotten a guy who's roleplaying Eridan's upper and lower half, hehe. Some lusii have been swarming in as of late.) A lot of the Homestuck Facebook roleplayers occasionally go on Zingled, too, and, like Zingled, the roleplaying format is going to likely be chat rather than paragraph.

You can also try finding a panfandom roleplaying game on Livejournal. Livejournal roleplaying is a little different from roleplaying on most other roleplaying sites I've seen, so that might take some getting used to - try looking up one of the roleplays going on in Livejournal and reading through it. Style there's probably going to be paragraph, not chat (of course there will still be pesterlogs), and in panfandom roleplays, you'll be roleplaying with people who didn't come from Homestuck. (That's kind of the definition of panfandom - a roleplay with characters from different shows/games/comics/etc. Not to be patronizing in case that's obvious to you, it's just kind of a Livejournal-specific term from what I've seen.) Here's one of the big ones:

http://community.livejournal.com/a_facility/profile

I guess that one might be more stressful for you, though, since you would need to apply to get in, and you'd be expected to be super-active so that they don't give the spot to someone else. I honestly haven't ever tried roleplaying on Livejournal.

(If you join the Facebook community as a Homestuck character, though, feel free to friend Tavros Nitram! I'm the one whose profile image is Tav fanart with him scratching the back of his neck and blushing pink for some weird reason - there are a lot of other Tavroses, but most of them use canon art, or, uh, there's the one wearing the suit, and a few other fanart profile images. It's always nice to have new roleplayers join, though~)

What are the characteristics of a weak woman?

Similar to those of a weak man. Unable to tell the truth and would prefer to let others take blame for their actions. Lacking in integrity, the ability to do the right thing even if they know it must be done. Shallow, preferring to associate themselves with people who are better looking richer or younger because it makes them appear better to others. Fickle in thier emotions, and easily lead by others.

Who is the more "perfect" in terms of superhero casting, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man or Christopher Reeves as Superman?

Robert Downey Jr is the only live action Iron Man. Some people already knew him from comics, but for most people, he is the only Iron Man they know, so he defines the character. Before Christpher Reeves, Superman had been portrayed on screen byKirk Alyn in Superman (serial 1948)George Reeve (Superman and the Mole men 1951 and The Adventures Of Superman TV series, started 1952)Superman was a more widely recognised character from comics, merchandising and animation, so people already had a clearer idea what Superman should be like. The first Christopher Reeves Superman film was a big hit, so many people got used to him as Superman. There have been various actors cast as Superman since then. Christopher Reeves has been the standard they are all compared to.In Films:Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, 2006)Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, 2013)On TV:David Wilson (It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman, 1975)John Haymes Newton (Superboy, 1988)Gerard Christopher (Superboy, 1989)Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, 1993–1997)Tom Welling (Smallville, 2001)Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl, 2017)

Why is Homestuck so popular?

I am a total sellout Homestuck fanatic, but I'll try to be as dispassionate in my analysis as possible.
1. It's one of the first webcomics that feels like it "belongs" on the web. Most webcomics retain a book format so that they'll be more recognizable as comics and easier to sell as print versions later on. Homestuck, though, looks terrible in a book, because it's interactive, animated, scored - it's basically designed to look and feel like a videogame.
2. The world is huge. Andrew Hussie built this entire universe from scratch and populated it with a lot of dynamic characters (i.e. their personalities grow and change over time).
3. The writing is clever. CAVEAT: Sometimes it get WAAAAAAAY too dense and you wish it would just move on for ****'s sake.
4. The whole thing is supported by a community. There are hundreds of other MSPA-style comics going on in the forum, contributor art gets put into the animations or sold as prints, amateur composers get to create the soundtrack... it's the kind of place people can make a little home for themselves online.

I'm sure there's other things, but this is what I can come up with off the top of my head for now.

What is/was your favorite class in high school and why?

Probably English. I love to read (always have) and prefer writing essays and papers to more standardized tests so English classes were always good in my book. It also helped that I had the same amazing teacher throughout most of my high school career for that subject.I think the year that had the most impact was my sophomore year. We read Chaucer’s “The Canterbury Tales” and our teacher had us plan our own pilgrimage to a location in our region that was roughly the same distance traveled in the stories. We made up our own characters and wrote our own verses. It was so creative and fun and really helped me understand the nature and importance of the text. This same teacher also sparked a discussion in class that completely changed the way I viewed a book we’d been required to read. The first time I read “Wuthering Heights” I absolutely HATED it. It was a drag and I resented every second I had to spend reading it. The class after we were supposed to have finished reading was basically a round table debate/discussion that I got so involved in - and so riled up about! - that I went home that night and read it again cover to cover. And that time? I loved it. I experienced it differently the second time because of the different questions she posed and the way she pushed us to think differently about the text and what it meant. It not only changed the way I felt about that book, but it really made me start thinking differently and more critically about all of the books I read.My other favorite classes were psychology (senior year) because I find people and the human mind endlessly fascinating and AP French because our teacher had us read “Les Miserables” (among other classics) in French, had us prepare and share French cuisine, and read French papers and magazines to better understand the culture, how the language was used, and how it evolved.

Homestuck Summary,Please?

It is LONG. It'll be pretty impossible to explain it all, let alone understand it without reading it. People who read it can hardly understand it. Yet the MSPA wiki has details of the main events that happened in each act, which is probably the most up to date summary available.

What do transgender people think of the introduction of the Davepetasprite^2 character to Homestuck?

I stopped following Homestuck years ago, but this is a non-binary character with they/them pronouns, right?I'd say that non-binary representation is good.  Maybe a character with they/them pronouns will make non-binary identities more accessible to the Homestuck fanbase. It sounds like there was a period of the story where they were trying to figure out their gender identity, so that sort of matches the experiences of trans people, too.  Yay for representation!Beyond that, though, I don't think there's a whole lot to pull from.  Non-binary people are assigned a gender at birth like the rest of us, whereas this particular character is the fusion of two distinct characters with separate binary identities.  And the fact that trans people are assigned a gender is a big part of the trans experience, too, so that's lacking here as well. There's also the thing where I've been seeing trans characters crop up a lot recently in various webcomics that I've been reading for over a decade, which on the one hand is nice because represenation, but on the other hand it's like "Why now?  Are we trendy now?"  But this is Homestuck and it's a sufficiently MSPA-y sort of absurdity, so I don't get quite the same sense from this.

Where can I find Homestuck cosplay costumes?

As far as I know they're aren't any ready made ones so you'd have to put your own together.

Sometimes you can find horns on http://www.etsy.com/ but if not they're not hard to make here's a tutorial http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§io...

You also can't buy the robot arm so again here's a tutorial :D (easy)
http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§io...
In this tutorial the girl made her own glove but I'm pretty sure a store bought one would be fine, and if you're not very creative just use a metallic glove that you can probably buy at any store that sells Halloween stuff. I've also seen people make duct tape gloves.

(a picture of the arm for ideas if you decide to make one: http://moopdrea.deviantart.com/art/WHY-DO-I-MAKE-THESE-FOR-PEOPLE-258316225?q=boost%3Apopular%20vriska%20tutorial&qo=13 )

As for the shirt, I'm not sure if you want to go as normal Vriska or God Tier Vriska but you can buy her Zodiac shirt here:
http://www.topatoco.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=TO&Product_Code=MSPA-SCORPIO&Category_Code=MSPA-TROLLS
and here:
http://whatpumpkin.com/troll-tees.html

You can also buy a god tier hoodie here http://whatpumpkin.com/godtier-hoodies.html
or you can make the shirt or hoodie by just taking a regular shirt or hoodie and drawing or transferring the picture/symbol on them.

As for the eyes, most cosplayers I've seen either don't pay attention to the 8 eye thing or use a pair of half sunglasses.

For the makeup as you can imagine you'll just have to paint your skin grey and wear blue lipstick.

The other stuff you can just buy probably, so here are some cosplays you can use for referencing and ideas.
