What is/was your cat's name?
Precious - Was a stray cat that I took in, while I was a young child. My parents said to keep her as an outside cat, so I did. I never failed to feed her and give her water every day. She was the best. When she died, I cried. A lot. Angel - My grandmother's cat, but she really only liked me, hissed and batted at anyone else, including my grandmother. So, she was more my cat than anyone's this was even said by my grandmother at one point. Tigger - My 12 week old kitten, that my fiancé has recently gotten for me. He is super clingy, and he is getting so big already. He will eat his food, and then go back for the dog's food if I don't catch the empty bowel right away. Sometimes, he will do it even if he has food in his bowel. Marley - Unsure about the gender at the moment, but this kitten is 9 weeks, or almost 9 weeks by now and is also clingy. He/She is the kind of cat that will use your pants to latch on to and climb on until he/she gets to your shoulder. Note: I don't mind clingy.

i have 5 cats called- Barney - (like the flintstones) Pickles - (barneys sister - cos we thought it was cute) Fonzie - (pickles' son, like fonz from happy days) Ziggy - (after ziggy stardust- we are all glam rock fans in my house!) Pebbles - (ziggys sister- my little baby girl, i names her after pebbles in the flintstones)

Oooh, I love all of the answers! I'm going to leave the question open for a while, but some of my favorites so far are: Sophia Crons: 'Shadow, Neko, and Bells' (I looove the name Neko for a cat! ha, even though it means just cat...it's still awesome. :) cloe1437: 'My cats name is Milky because we had to hand feed him kitten milk and when he cried it sounded like he said milk.' (That is soo adorable! Our cat Savannah when she was pregnant, when she meowed it sounded like she was saying 'Aw, maaan'! so cute.) greeny: 'Flapp (as in cat-flap, but spelt with 2 Ps because hes special) Astrophe (as in cat-astrophe, which suits her as she always runs in front of cars)' (Those are some incredibly clever cat names. I really really love them!)

Well...I have five permanent inside kitties, and ten outside kitties (one kitty just had babies!) that we take care of...and then I have pet names for cats from the past. Their names are: Inside Kitties: Spicy Sugar Cow Indian Mousey Outside Kitties: Tux Fluffy/Fuzzy Precious/Jasper Momma Kitty Scraggles Bigfoot Newborn Kittens: Puppy Cheez-it Kavailas (it means 'Stupid' in Lithuanian...haha) Paul Calf Past Kitties: Pretty Boy Salem Smooch Max Maxine Casper Gingi Puddly Toupee Luke or Lucy...I can't remember if that one was a boy or girl (it unfortunately died a couple days after birth) Tigger Birdy Sounds like a loooot of cats, I know. But I can't help it, I just love the darn things so much (:
How did you pick your cat's name?
I currently have 3 cats and a kitten.Weasley. Named after the Weasley family in Harry Potter. He’s ginger, obviously. Not a hint of white anywhere on him. The lightest bit on him is the end of his tail, and that’s just light ginger.Scampy. So named because he’s a cheeky little thing who loves playing. He’s the only cat i have who is named because of his personality and not how he looks. He’s grey and white.Sooty. Pure black with a very thin line of white on his chest. His previous owners named him Panthera, but we didn’t know that until last week, when we took him to the vets to check for a microchip.Foxy. Younger brother to Scamp and Weasley. He’s ginger and white. I took a while trying to pick a name for him. He started out as Bubba until i settled on Foxy. His colouring sort of reminds me of a fox. And yes, i do know it’s a stupid name for a cat, but i’m the one who named two stray tuxedo cats Batman and Bruce due to them both looking like they’re wearing Batman masks.

What is your cats name, and why?
My sweet very fat cats name is Willard. The reason that his name is Willard is because when my husband brought him home, he was very small and could not really tell what he was. That gal at the store said he was a girl, so my daughter named him Lilly. Well, in a couple of weeks of growing, I noticed that Lilly had a "willy." Well, we couldn't keep that name and my kids suggested willy. Well, that was no good, because that sounds like..well..you know what...so Willard it is!! All 22 pounds of him!!!! :)
Does your cat answer to his or her name?
Yes, they do! They come bounding or sauntering up and put their two front paws on my legs which means “pick me up and carry me”.
