Where is "select as Best Answer" for one's question? --can never find?
I've had trouble in the past *finding* any button/etc that would allow me to choose a Best Answer and thought I'd looked everywhere for it. I finally looked up the Help on giving a Best Answer again (it's below) so want to try this again to make absolutely sure I'm looking in the right place, and can find it (in 4 hrs). Does anyone have any other tips for me on exactly where to find it, or what might prevent it from showing up for me? TIA, Diane B. ``````````````````````````````````````... Senior citizens, is it Ok to answer posts after a BA has been issued?
I did a while ago to a post asking how often do people come into Answers. I hope it's alright as I know things have changed in there. I did answer next to never anymore. I'm surprised I'm still on the top answers board. I used to be on here daily with a lot of online friends, but 1 or 2 trolls made things hateful and petty. So I started a FB group of 40 seniors from this site almost 6 years ago and it is very successful and going strong yet. The only reason I'm on here today is because FB is all screwed up today. No one will be reading this now that BA has been issued, but I give a Hello to all the old timers that remember those days. Best wishes...
How do i choose an answer for best answer on yahoo answers?
1) At the top of Answers select the In Voting Tab. 2) Select a question that interests you that is ready to have a best answer selected. 3) Read all of the answers - that is if you are being honest. 4) Select the answer that you think is most relevant to the information asked for in the question. 5) Click on the blue tab just below the answer that you have selected as best answer. 6) You will be able to see how may other people have voted for the same answer as best answer. 7) You will also be able to see what percentage of the votes have been given to that answer as best answer. 8) You will receive 1 point for having given that person a best answer for his/her answer to another persons question. 9) Close out of that question and go to the next question and repeat the process. If it is a question that you have asked youself: 1) You have to read all the answers that people have given to your question when the question comes up for the best answer to be selected. Otherwise the answer will be left for the rest of us to select a best answer or there will be no winner if no one votes. 2) Write a brief but meaningful message to the winner. You can write a message to the other people who have given answers too if you want to. 3) Give the message a star rating. This is important. It the message is very good and a lot of work has gone into it - that is a lot of web sites and information it is likely to rate a four or five star. On the other hand if there aren't many long and informative answers but the best one still has some information you may give it a three star. 4) Click the best answer button. 5) The person getting the best answer receives 10 points.
