Why are many main characters in anime red haired?
You can find as many main characters with black, pink or blonde hair or any other color. But these hairstyles do have recognizable patterns.It totally depends on the genre of anime you are watching. For example, you may use blonde hairstyle for a foreigner (Noir) or purely for dumb blonde tropes (Sailor Moon and Misa Amane from Death Note). Blue is often used for intelligent, introvert and complete deadpan of a person (Ayanami Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Juvia Lockser from Fairy Tail). Psychological anime often have characters with brown hair (Kirima Nagi from Boogiepop wa Warawanai, Iwakura Lain form Serial Experiments Lain, Light Yagami from Death Note) since you don’t want the MCs to stand out. Most of the times, you will find strong colors as red, in shounen anime. I will admit though that my anime preferences too have revolved around plenty of characters with red or blonde hair.As Martin noted, red is often attributable to brash, rebellious characters and in some cases, even delinquents (Sakuragi Hanamichi from Slam Dunk). For females, it can mean tomboyish personalities (Asuka Langley Soryuu from Neon Genesis Evangelion). Red haired characters often exuberate unmatched confidence (Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin) and can often be used for sexuality (Rias Gremory from High School DxD and Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann).Red was often used as the color for sheath of samurai-swords and maybe that’s why it is used to depict passionate, headstrong characters. Japan’s culture as we know it has been influenced to some extent by the Chinese. In China, red represented courage, loyalty, honor, success, passion etc. This aspect of influence is a speculation and needs validation from Japanese themselves or long time residents of Japan.Apart from Sentai, there is one more franchise which has influenced mangaka and animators alike as to a typical hero appearance. That would be Buichi Terasawa’s Cobra. Although Cobra isn’t red haired but his clothing makes up for it. What is the real life name of hair color of Rias Gremory form HighSchool DxD!? By this I mean when you buy it at the stor how do you aske for thet exect color?
Who is hotter, Rias, Akeno, Asia, Xenovia, Raynare or Koneko?
I couldn’t pick, they all have things going for them, both personality and looks, looks alone would never be enough for me. Even if a girl were the most attractive in existence, I wouldn’t have much interest in her if she was a total bitch or I found her personality too unattractive or too incompatible with mine…Raynare would definitely be someone I find incompatible, girl may be a looker, but she’s madder than a hatter, plus, ya know, the delighting in being evil and hurting people. Akeno at least is a good person and her sadism is limited pretty much to people who deserve it (such as stray Devils), or it’s purely consensual. I’d get along with her just fine, but I don’t know if it’d be at a level that’s sufficient for a romantic relationship to actually work…and I’m really not the type for a casual fling or anything like that, just not who I am. She’s definitely hot though and I definitely find her all kinds of attractive.Asia, I dunno, she just feels like too much of a little sister for me to view her sexually…she’s someone I’d enjoy spending time with and I’m sure would be someone I’d be really close with since she’s pretty much sweetness, cuteness, and innocence personified…it’s pretty much impossible not to like her, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to view her as anything but a little sister…Koneko is probably the closest in personality to me and in terms of her attitude, personality and all of that, I probably find her one of the most attractive of the cast…but I’m too much of a lover of oppai (much like Issei), and Koneko sadly is not gifted in that department :( Though the whole cat-girl thing kind of makes up for that a little bit, and the booby issue does wind up fixed when she goes into Shirone mode…and she’s hella cute/adorable to begin with.So I guess it’d probably Rias or Xenovia I’d consider the most attractive, and I usually find I lean more toward Xenovia as I like her character a lot more than Rias (nothing against Rias, I just like Xenovia more). By process of elimination Xenovia is probably who I’d wind up picking from this list, Koneko is still pretty up there though.…..no Irina or Rossweisse? I am disappointed in you for ignoring the rest of Issei’s main harem.
