Many pieces are easy rhythmically, like Happy Birthday, but might not be in a comfortable range for beginners.Comment on this answer once you’ve updated that and I can find some stuff for you.Alternatively, if you’re looking for some good books to use to improve your playing, try the Getchell books. They start off with easy études but get more difficult in both range and rhythm (among other things) as the student progresses.EDIT: Okay, so since you’re brand new to trumpet so I’m assuming it’s for school. I would suggest getting a beginner’s trumpet book. If you can, signing up for lessons would be very helpful in developing good habits and whatnot. In the mean time, this video should help you get some ideas on what should be done against what might happen if you go in without consciously thinking about things that might otherwise slip your mind. In fact, they start with breathing first. Oh, and don’t feel the need to watch the whole thing in one sitting! Watching it one section at a time and thinking about each section as you go along will be more effective.Also, remember that perfect practice makes perfect. It is more important to practice thoughtfully and carefully than to practice for a longer period of time without much thought.You won’t be able to play any tunes you hear on the radio or from movies or anything until you’re more experienced.
