What is the procedure to obtain NOC from Bangalore RTO for a four wheeler?
Experience in Bangalore East RTO :Background :I recently shifted to Bangalore from Noida and Transported my 4-wheeler (Maruti suzuki Baleno Delta ) to BangaloreGhaziabad RTO :I need to obtained the NOC which I got after 12–14 days ( after submitting valida documents ). Also online my RC status changed to NOC Issued to Bangalore East (This work is done without involving any agent )Bangalore East RTO :I was confident that I have all the documents with me and will be very easy for me to get the Karnataka Registered number ( But obviously this is a corrupt government office where no work will be done easily )As per the procedure I need to pay the road tax but the so called superintendent lady at the counter denied to sign the Form with reason my documents are not complete . So I payed Rs 1000 to a agent and magically all documents are valid and completed and she calculated the Road Tax ( obviously she must have took her fair share of the deal )Now after paying the road tax and obtaiming SCRB certificate again I went to her for signing on change of Address form but again she denied to sign reason being form is not completed ( A cue for me to pay the Agent money else your vechile won't be getting registered in this corrupted state )NOTE : India is not changing for sure. Even if a person decides to do everything on his own , the corrupted official won't allow to do so. It's been 3 weeks for me trying hard to re-register my vechile but no way superintendent will sign without getting the money ( Obviously they need money as they are not getting salary from government )The best thing is I can't report this to any superior authority as he is not even interested in listening.Also as this is a government office so don't try to reach here on time because everyone here comes around 11:00 AM while some have the guts to come after 12 as well ( obviously this is just a part time govt job for them and govt will pay them full month salary irrespective of whether they come on time or not )Conclusion :If you want to get the work done just pay the agent ( In my case he was asking for Rs 14000 ) and sit at home. You will get everything done within a week while you need to visit RTO more than onceThanks for reading
