Do you regret not having children of your own?
No. I have no regrets.If there was a shortage of humans in the world, I probably would have chosen to have a child (or children) and I would not have regretted that choice, either. Fortunately, I am alive during a period in which there is no shortage of humans; in fact, it is just the opposite.I feel like part of the world village. A childfree life is a beautiful life. I have exponentially more choices than if I chose to have a child. One of those choices is the freedom to spend time with many children for periods ranging from a day to a few weeks. We all — parents, children, and me — benefit from my choice to be childfree.Because I love children, I am able to contribute to the lives of many children already here in the world, both directly and indirectly.In good conscience, it makes no sense to me to bring a single additional human into the world until EVERY child who is already here has a home, love, good nutrition, education and a decent chance at a good future. We frown on other animals who overpopulate; we say they “lack the ability to reason”. This is a good reminder that humans are just another animal, despite the many wonders our opposable thumbs afford us.Currently, there are more than 15 million homeless children in the world who are in need of a chance for a decent future. We could use our reason and stop procreating until all of the children already here with us are properly cared for. I think one day we humans may, as a species, make this choice.The clear understanding that procreation is a choice, not an imperative, is growing quickly. As more women become empowered and are able to care for themselves, the women-are-for-baby-bearing era will become a thing of the past. Women are so much more than this!A new generation of women is already here. Because of them, the future may be a very bright place for everyone.If the world is going to change, it will be the women who change it.Thanks for the A2A. Wife wants to adopt instead of having own children?
I can understand this kind of thinking for sure, especially with the (unfortunately) value our society puts on a person's appearance. However, my concern here is the child. I have three children, and trust me when I say (and my wife agrees) that the birthing and body adjustment are the LEAST of your worries with children. If your wife is that emotionally fragile, I doubt she can and will be able to handle the stress of having a child around the house, the teenage years, etc. And I guess my other thing is, who is she trying to save her looks for? You need to ask yourself if you are putting any additional pressure on her about her maintaining her looks. If so, shame on you. If not, good for you, but bad for her, because that makes me think she wants to keep her options open if she decides she's done with you. IN ADDITION TO THIS FROM EALIER: Look at the answers from those who HAVE kids vs. those who are THINKING about having/adopting kids. There is a BIG difference from those of us who are/have been there. Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck man.

Would you rather adopt or have your own child.?
I would rather have my own, there's nothing bad with adopting but i just feel that if I adopted a child I would not have a close bound as I would feel with my own baby. like me and these girls were debating and I said that I would have my own and then they said but give a home to a child that cant have one...but i was like adopting cost a lot. But if i could adopt it would be a little Asian girl because china has to many people! so would you adopt or have your own?
