What Is This Brown Discharge Coming Out Of My Dog

My dog has brown discharg out of one of her nipples.. WHat cold it be (SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY)?

It is most likely mastitis (an infection of the breast tissue). It would be a good idea to take your dog to the vet.

Red-brownish jelly-like discharge coming out of pregnant dog?

If she's far on, then she has lost her mucus plug, meaning this dog is having her pups.

As you evidently have no idea what you are doing, you should take her to your vet immediately, so she can get the care she deserves.

When the pups are weaned, you should then have her spayed, so that this doesn't happen ever again.

Pregnant dog with brown discharge coming from vulva...why?

Old BLOOD MEANS *TROUBLE*,you ignorant BYB!!!!!!!!
RUN screaming to the vet.... before it dies would be nice,eh?

Brownish Discharge From My Pregnant Dog...?

I would say she is going to deliver real soon, she should be fine-- I am thinking you miscalculated, since the vet told you a week ago that there is no infection, and the puppies are moving less and less they are getting into position I would at least wait until Monday then call your vet
Please let us know- and please keep in touch as I might want a new puppy of this breed, please contact me Good Luck

My pregnant dog a "Maltese" Had a brown discharge and now has a clear one...?

My maltese is 53 days pregnant and she had a brown sticky discharge for about 3 days. I was worried but I would feel her belly and all pups were moving. After the brown discharge has stopped coming out she now has a clear one. I would also want to tell you that she keeps sniffing around the house like in every corner.

I made her a whelping box out of a cardboard box and shredded newspaper and I put her to sleep there yesterday but she didn't like it. (She sleeps with me on my bed everyday) I put the box next to my bed and at first she was calm and went to sleep but, in the middle of the night she would move around and bark at me to get her out. How can I make her like her box? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance! ")

My dog has a lot of brownish snot comming out, the vet said he had kennel cough?

Sounds like kennel cough to me. While green or yellow are the most common colors for discharge during any disease (not just kennel cough) ANY color of discharge indicates illness. Kennel cough is usually a bacterial infection and it can be caused by several different organisms. If it helps, think of it like a cold...there are a lot of different cold viruses and not all of them produce the same symptoms. Likewise, a child with a cold could have green, yellow, white, or brown snot.

I'm assuming the tussigon is a cough suppresant. Amoxicillin is an antibitoic and you need to make sure that he gets ALL of the amoxi that the vet has prescribed. Do not stop giving it to him even if he seems 100% better until you have given the last pill!

Upper respiratory diseases can be persistent and take a long time to clear up or they can clear up pretty easily with one round of antibiotics. It really depends on the exact organism (bacteria) causing the disease and whether or not it is resistant to the antibiotics that were prescribed. If your dog doesn't get better on the antibiotics your vet prescribed or gets better and then gets sick again then your vet may recommend doing a culture to determine what exactly is making your dog sick and what drugs will be effective for treating it.

Be prepared to have a totally different dog on your hands once he's over the kennel cough! Six month old GSD's are not known for being calm. He may genuinely be incredibly well behaved (it does happen sometimes, my own GSD puppy was freakishly mellow...but it's an exception to the general rule) but more likely he's just too sick to be up to his usual puppy antics. As the antibiotics start to work, he will start to feel better and he will become more active, less tired, and less depressed.

My Dog's penis has a brown discharge and smells really bad?

He is 5 years old, he stopped eating and his penis is a little bit swollen plus he's discharging every time a brown-redish liquid (at first i thought it was blood) then he got really stinky and gave him a bath, but the smells kept going, and then I noticed that the horrible smell was coming from his penis area and the discharge was the one causing it... I will really like to know what's going on, and the bad thing is that I can't really afford a vet right now... Any suggestions/ home remedies ... Thank You

Some cats and dogs have brown-black discharge from their eyes/nose. Why? Is it the sign of an illness? Is it a chemical compound, if so, which one do cats/dogs have that we do not?

In some cats brown crusts in the eyes and nose are due to allergy, in others subclinical illness, and in some short faced cats like Persians it is due to tears that can't go down blocked ducts.Recent studies have shown that many cats that have some conjunctival inflammation have infection with Mycoplasma or Chlamydiophila bacteria and some have infection with a virus. Bacterial illness is often not just of the eyes and nose, but also in the lungs and can lead to chronic bronchitis which leads to asthma.Little is known at this time about how many of these cats have which illness. In this case, it is probably a problem with allergies causing inflammation that is the source of the "crusts" and as long as your cat doesn't cough or vomit you shouldn't need to worry.

What is black discharge coming out of my cat's eye? It looks like blood.

Cats often have a version of the herpes virus, feline viral rhinopneumonitis (FVR), rhinotracheitis virus and feline herpesvirus type 1 (FHV-1),It is different from the herpes virus in humans and cannot be transmitted to people. It is the equivalent of a cold in humans and can manifest itself as watering eyes, coughing and sneezing. It's highly contagious to cats,so it is very common along outdoor cats, strays, and and feral cats. Among indoor cats, if one cat has the virus, is it's likely that all will catch it.Although infected cats will carry the virus for life, it tends to affect kittens and cats who are older or sick. It can also flair up when a cat is under stress like moving to a new home or when a new pet joins the household.Bacterial infections can also occur during flare-ups. So it is important to keep the virus under control. Many vets recommend Lysine treats to help build the cat’s immune system and reduce flair ups. You can also buy it in powder form that can be added to the cat's food.Once symptoms are present, your vet can treat with antiviral medicine.

My French Bulldog has dark brown discharge? Eating, Temperture & drinking is fine...?

My Dog is 30 days pregnant with at least 4 puppies inside her. 5 day's ago she had a yellowish green discharge coming out of her vulva. I took her the Vet and they said it was probably a uterus infection but, then they passed it off as probably normal because she was pregnant and some dogs experience discharge. They put her on amoxiclav 250mg which is an antibiotic containing amoxicillin and penicillin for 7 days. 4 days went by and the discharged changed to a dark brown color. There seemed to be no change in her inactivity and normal self. She sleep's most of the day and does'nt seem to want to play or exersize much anymore. I took her back to the Vet again and demanded they check the uterus for infection. I was afraid it could be pyometra (Uterus Infection) which could be deadly. They gave her another ultra sound and checked the uterus for sign's of infection and the life of the puppies. The Vet said everything is fine. I am not convience. Does anyone have any light to shed on this.
