What Is Wrong With Me Should I See A Doctor

What is wrong with me???

I am 39 and I have these pains behind my knees that hurt all the time. The pains are a sore constant feeling. It is agorvating as heck. Sometime my whole leg will hurt at night and I can't even go to sleep. Has anyone else had this kind of pain? I am just checking to see. I will go to the doctor soon. Thanks for your help.

I think my sister is hot? Should I see a doctor?

I'm 17 & she's 16. She's the loud & bubbly type. She always tells me I need to smile more. She always comes to my room & wants to play or talk. She always wears long pants & long sleeves & socks ever since I can remember. But last week she started walking around the has with just her panties & bra, I'm like WTF? Is she crazy! She came to my room like that & she was talking to me but I couldn't look her in the eye. She's all like,"Is something wrong?" I was like "NO!" I couldn't say yes, cuz she's naked & it's making me nervous, cuz then she'd think I'm a wierdo.

I was sleeping in my boxers cuz that's how I always sleep. Then she jumped on my & yelled,"TICKLE FIGHT!" & she started tickling me. She was only wearing her underwear & bra again! WTF? I was was tickling her, but I got an erection & just got up & ran away from her b4 she could see. Now I keep having dreams of her & I doing it. It's so wrong! Should I see a doctor? I never want her as a girlfriend or wife, EEWW! She's just hot & really nice to me. What do I do?

PS - I've never had a girlfriend or 1st kiss. My sister has never been in a relationship either.

I haven't had my period in over five months. Should I see a doctor? Is there something I should be/could be doing?

By 17, your body should have adjusted to the monthly period. Usually when a girl experiences menarche, your body needs about 3 years to accept this new process happening in your body. So usually, for some months, the period can commence earlier or later. The first thing doctors do (give you are only 17) will zoom straight to your thyroid hormone, TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone). You can read up more on this hormone. It affects your period directly. As a woman speaking, we need to make sure our period comes on time - this is to indicate the “good” status of our health.Do you exercise regularly? Exercise promotes the right distriution of hormones - eg: progesterone, oestrogen , FSH, LH, etc. I usually hit the gym for an hour about 4 -5 times a week. Are you experiencing any stress? I believe you are a student. Do not be overwhelmed by your studies. Stress can adversely affect period. Are you eating the right food? Make sure you take lots of vegetables and fruits. Stop eating all fast food. Are you currently on any other medication? It can affect your period. For instance, there are some medication that cannot be taken together and it can cause interference in your cycle.Sometimes there could be other underlying health issues which could affect the delay of period. Given your age is 17 and you are acceptable weight, it is unlikely you suffer from PCOS.See a doctor and get a blood check. They might put you on the contraceptive pill (progesterone pill) for 21 days to stimulate your period. But please be aware of the side effects such as stomach gastric pain (mild), feeling of nausea, etc. There are some nasty side effects of this pill. You can take some drinks or food that increase your body temperature. For example, increase your intake of red wine and D.O.M.When your body temperature increases, the level of progesterone will try to drop. If you have an ovulation thermometer, track the temperature. At this time, your body temperature should be high given you have not had your period (thanks to high level of progesterone).I hope this helps.Just be positive. All is well :)

Whats wrong with Me???

That could be because you may have low-blood sugar. I have Hypoglycemia, and that happens to me too! To cure that, I put a tablespoon of sugar into a glass of orange juice...And that usually does the trick for taking away the dizziness. Sometimes if you take certain medication and/or vitamins on an empty stomach--that can cause nausea. Also, your equilibrium may be off slightly...Perhaps you should see your doctor, to find out what is wrong.

How is your eating? Are you skipping meals? Do you take medication? These factors may be the source of your problem. Some medications can affect you like that. Only your doc will be able to find out for you! Best wishes!

For normal check up, what kind of doctor should I see?

There are several optionsI am a general Internist, as well as a general Paediatrician. I have done a lot of “general physicals” in my day, and I am partial to my two specialties. So, either of these, depending on age. But in truth there are many options.Family Practice doctors do a lot of physicals, at all sorts of ages. They have training all the way down to newborns, but many prefer to stick with older children or just adults. Obviously Pediatricians have more training with kids, but that doesn’t mean that Family Practitioners can’t do a good job with routine care.OB/GYNs have taken to doing a lot of routine physical work for women, beyond the gynecology the can be good options, and women are often seeing them anyway so it is convenient. In the other hand, for routine physicals a GYN is not always necessary. Lots of Internists and even more Family Practitioners do this work just fine including the GYN exam. This probably answers your question, but I will go on a bit there are non doctor health care practitioners who also do a fine job of physicals and routine care. Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are increasingly common options. Often they work in a medical practice, but they also can be independent, depending on the state. They have a more limited scope of practice than doctors, but we are talking about a “general physical” here. Now, just like doctors, these second tier providers have specialties, but that is usually clear from their practice. While I am sure that I have answered your question by now, I will also throw in that the whole concept of a “general physical” is being questioned these days. The jury is still out, but there is no clear benefit from this service. Let me quickly add that there ARE clear benefits from specific screenings, such as getting your blood pressure checked, and the routine physical is where these things usually get done. I have been at this a long time and I am for them, but I also have a vested interest. Ablot of docs are moving away from them. For that matter, for my patients I see regularly, I usually incorporate the various components of a physical in to their usual visits. I personaly like general physicals for people I don’t otherwise see, to make sure they aren’t missing screening they should have, and maybe give some efucation. But, a growing model just stresses the particular screenings that people need and forgoes the ritual physical.
