Is my belly button pierced wrong?
Okay I got my belly button pierced today but I think the girl did it wrong or something. So if you have ur belly button pierced, from the top of ur belly button to the hole, what does that measure on a ruler. Mine looks like if I'd pull it it'd come out of my stomach. Kinda weird but can you help lol

I got my belly button pierced about a month ago and it just doesn't look right to me. The bottom ball like hides in my belly button so most of the time you can't see it unless i fix it and make it stick out but then it goes right back. Most of the time the top just sticks out especially if I'm sitting, then the bottom ball goes completely in my belly button. There is a picture, sorry my belly isn't that cute lol especially with flash. But it kind of looks like it was pierced straight you know? I just want some opinions and hopefully a professional can tell me if it's pierced wrong so I can know for sure. I don't want to freak out on my piercer if it was done right but I've never seen one look like mine. I've always seen the bottom ball on other people and I know my belly button can't be that different. So if ya'll could let me know if it's done correctly or not I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

What's wrong with my belly button ring?
i got mine done profesionally, although it was a bit itchy and redto start of with. the discharge is normal. although it may be infected. don't use ear care products. they barely work. try sea salt. which you may have in your kitchen and mixe with luke warm water, and apply to bellybutton. do not play with your bar/ring. i did this and a light red part came out of the piercing hole and would not go back in! even though it had happeneded before. turns out i had pyogenic granuloma and had to get it removed and leave my bar our for atleast a month. see how it goes, if nothing looks up in about a week to a week and a half, remove it. and get it repierced professionaly. i hope it works out for you chic.
My belly button has brown spots on it, what is wrong with me?
im an "in-ny", btw. im female, 16 years old. i noticed it yesterday, while i was showering, it literally looks like someone took a paint brush with like a darkish brown paint on it and spotted my belly button, but the button itself inside looks sorta white. it's really weird and is sorta freaking me out. to conclude: inny belly button has tiny brown spots on it until you get to the bulge in the middle which is like white. what is wrong with me? thanks in advance. i'll choose a best answer.

If it doesn't hurt, then no it's not infected. You could however be over washing it and its drying out (which explains the intense itching). The best thing is to wash it once a day in the shower (or whenever) with non-scented liquid dial soap (it's the orange stuff). At night (or, again, whenever) you should use a 1/4 tablespoon of Epsom Salts (really cheap at your drug store) to 1 cup water. Soak a CLEAN washcloth in it, and stick it in the microwave for about 10-20 sec (it should not be too hot to touch! just warm enough so that it will soothe). Do that every night till it goes away. Remember though, part of the healing process is an itching sensation. Redness, swelling, discharge (of any kind!) all possible signs of infection. If none of this helps definitely have a doctor check it out because an infection could become serious. But in all likelihood it just needs time to heal. Don't worry.

The skin is the outer one. At the belly button, the abodminal wall is next. Inside the abdomen, the appendix is the inner remnant from the umbilical cord into the body. The closing of the umbilical cord to create the belly button at birth seals all three of these layers. Breaking open any one of those layers can create dangerous infection and illness. Breaking open all three at once would be very unhealthy.
