What is your favorite hearty breakfast meal to eat out?
I have two favorite restaurants for breakfast. One is Mimi’s Good Food and the other is Town and Country which is owned by a long-time friend.At Mimi’s, expect standard breakfast items for the most part - taken to a beautifully higher level. It starts with an out-of-the-way location and a packed house. The front window holds the last 6 to 8 inspection sheets, displaying A+ across the top and usually a 100% rating. I’ve seen one 98% rating. My breakfast is 2 scrambled eggs, 3 strips of bacon, crisp hash browns with onions (by request), black coffee and whole wheat or rye toast. Awesome.Town & Country’s meals get better every time I go. The Saturday brunch is excellent, ex-cell-unt! Over several visits, I’ve had blueberry crepes with sides of bacon and eggs, orange cream pancakes (Wow!), and my favorite, good corned beef, cubed potato and onion hash. I topped it with a couple of poached eggs.
What is your favorite Denny's food?
You are so right on the money! I love the moons over my hammy with the onions cheese and gravy! The best ever anywhere! Especially the one in Ann Arbor! I have occassion to be in Ann Arbor once or twice a week, and I never leave without going to Denny's--I like going after midnight because one of the cooks there (Mark I think his name is) has been working there for like 23 years, and he is a very good cook!
What is your favorite meal to get at Dennys?
The all American Grand slam.It comes with scrambled eggs,bacon strips,sausage patties,hash browns,and toast.I'm usually good and full after eating all that!
Dennys or Ihop?
To me, the quality of the food at IHOP is better. Denny's is not bad, but I prefer IHOP over Denny's.
Can you eat breakfast at anytime at dennys?
Denny's is famous for its inexpensive breakfasts served 24/7. While driving from San Diego to San Francisco, we hit many, many Denny's! Except for those break stops, we drove non-stop! :)
Whats Dennys and white castle like?
coming to america and just wondered what the fast food is like? you know Taco Bell and stuff? Not Maccas or Burger King we have that in Australia and it tastes the same in the UK and China
What is the best breakfast at Denny's? Why?
Depends on what you’re after. I go between several as being the best, depending on my mood.The Ultimate Skillet and toast because it has EVERYTHING a person could want except something sweet. It’s tasty and I don’t have to worry about the food getting cold because that skillet is HOT. Warning: if you like your eggs over medium, it may be advisable to order over easy since they continue cooking all the way to the table.The build your own breakfast is…well…customized. I do a hypercarb breakfast with toast, pancakes, grits, and hashbrowns…then I add eggs and sausage because it doesn’t satisfy if you don’t have some protein.Another hypercarb meal that will leave you hungry a few days later is to order their biscuit and gravy breakfast and 2 pancakes. I can only do this a couple times a year without gaining 2000 extra pounds.So, which breakfast is the best? The one on my plate right that moment!
Where do you eat at, IHop or Denny's, and why?
I like Denny’s breakfasts better than IHOP, but won’t go there. In my town they made 2 couples wait for 30 minutes to be seated while the 4 of us were given a table as soon as walked in. The 2 couples were black, looking to sit together.We had no reservations. But those 4 people waited while lots of others were seated. We had our check before they were seated. They were waiting when we walked in.I wont go back. Haven’t been there in 15 years. That said, I don’t think ihop pancakes are all that good. My local diner beats them big time. If pancakes is in your name you should have outstanding ones.
Best thing to eat at Denny's?
Hi, My boyfriend and I are going to Denny's in a bit, and I'm just wondering what the best thing to order from there is. We're both starving, and would like a decently big meal to eat. I've had their french toast which was good, but I'm thinking of something different. Thanks a lot!!
