It's super hard to pick my most favorite Katy Perry song, because there's SOOO many great ones, so if you don't mind, I'm going to list my favorite song from each of her 3 albums. I'd say my favorite Katy Perry song from her first album (One Of The Boys) would be I Kissed A Girl. It's her first single ever, it's super iconic, it pretty much hit #1 immediately, it has a fantastic rock vibe, and her live renditions of it throughout the years have always been some of her best live performances. My favorite Katy Perry song from her 2nd album (Teenage Dream) would probably have to be California Gurls. Once again, super iconic, it hit #1, it's the lead single from the album, it's pretty much the best summer song to ever exist, and the music video is one of the greatest music videos of all time, not to mention it's what gave her her “Queen of candy” status. As for my favorite Katy Perry song from her 3rd album, (Prism) I'd have to go with Dark Horse. Once again, iconic, it hit #1, it's super catchy, the lyrics are absolutely amazing, and you just can't help but feel empowered when you listen to it. All in all, I'm just SUCH a huge Katy Cat, her music makes me happy, she's so beautiful and inspiring, and I can't wait for her new album!

What is the worst Katy Perry song?
“Bon Appetit.” After a lot of thinking, this is the song I chose. Why not “Birthday,” “Swish Swish,” or “Rise?” Well, while I may not be a fan of ANY of those songs (“Birthday” is often dubbed the sequel to “Last Friday Night,” but it’s a letdown of a sequel, in my opinion), “Bon Appetit” is just the worst. Boring lyrics, not very sexy (I’m fine with songs not being sexy, but considering that “Bon Appetit” is supposed to be, I thought I needed to add that), and it has a lame music video. One listen to that song and you’ll automatically know that it was written to appeal to modern day and tried very hard to be ‘trendy.’ I prefer Katy Perry songs that she wrote because she wanted to and she enjoyed them, not songs that she writes just to have an album so she doesn’t become irrelevant.

I agree that is really catchy, but is beyond simple, meanwhile we have other songs like 'Lost' with better lyrics and, in my humble opinion, better musicalization.
