What is your Favorite dog breed?
Mutt/'shepard Bull Mastiff The best dogs I have had al had been mutts, usually less vet visits well mannered, protective, smart , easy training, I have had different breeds, my last one whom I had to finally put down due to her age was Shepard/Chow I think she may have been coyote or wolf no way to know I asked, found her at work with the rest of a litter under a trailer. Loved that dog she was awesome
What is your favorite dog breed?
My favorite breed is the Labrador Retriever. I have owned and or fostered over 35 breeds over the year and there was something great about all of them. However, the Labs ended up being my favorite because of their great all around even temperament, their incredible devotion and how affectionate they are. I also love their versatility and high intelligence. They also have an amazing ability to connect to and relate to people. One reason why they are so often used in service work. My boy now is a huge snuggle bear. His name is Tritan or more commonly spelled Triton. I like that name because it is an unique water name for a water dog. I also love the name Emmerson or Trace for boys. For girls I like Willow or Morgan.

Well xP, I liked the mixed type of dogs the best! For example - 1st place for me, Chihuahua/Jack russell 2nd place - Maltese ((Puppies)) They're so cute and cuddly ^.^ 3rd place - Pomeranians 4th place - All the other dogs

Thanks for an easy question. Great Pyr. The gentlest of giants. And beautiful to boot. Needs a job though to keep him happy. Doesn't need to be much but something. I asked ours to check the fenced area of the property before we turned in for the night. It was pretty funny hearing him bark at the wildlife to let them he was keeping an eye on things. He also gave himself a job. That of protecting our other dogs, two of them small enough to get picked-up by a bird of prey. Anytime one of those showed up, our Buddy was out there barking at them. Great, great dogs. But not for everyone as they are roamers and when they decide to go, they go. Part of our property was fenced so we could keep the dogs safe during hunting season. The day he decided to see what our neighbor was having for dinner, he dug under the fence in two second flat. We called him a steam shovel.
What is your favorite K-9 breed and why?
A tamaskan and pomeranian Even though tamaskans arent an official breed, they are gorgeos and friendly type dogs. they look like wolves without the wolf blood mixed into them. And pomeranians are simply ADORABLE! (: They are just cute and tiny little poochies, so adorable and make you laugh whenever you see them do something cute.
What is your favorite dog breed?
Labrador retriever is my favorite...but as another poster stated, you need to figure out what type of dog would suit you best. If you live in an apartment and you're lazy, don't get a Labrador retriever as that wouldn't be fair to the dog at all. It DOES matter how big or small of a dog you get depending on how active you are and how big of a house you live in. Don't get a big dog if you don't have a yard and aren't willing to walk your dog twice a day. You and your dog will both end up unhappy and frustrated. Seriously, choosing the right type of dog for you is very important otherwise you're just being stupid and ignorant.
All of the dogs I’ve actually owned were mutts, but I do intend to get a purebred working dog after I graduate and buy my own farmland. When that time comes, my current leading candidate (out of several breeds) is the English Shepherd.By all accounts, they’re the perfect dog for a small-scale farmer. English Shepherds are smart, obedient, and easy to get along with. They’ve been bred as all-purpose working dogs since Roman times; you can teach them to herd livestock, guard the house, keep moles out of the garden, and even track game. And they’re cute and fluffy. What more could you want from a dog?
What's your favorite breed of dog?
I was wary about a pit bull coming to live with my daughter's family (2 preteen girls, 2 5-year-old boys), but I minute I met Reina, I fell in love with her. The breed has a bad reputation, but they are no more vicious than other breeds. I also fell for their Labrador Chow; he was like a lion. And I love Solomon, their giant poodle. Also I've had and lived with Schnauzers since I was a teenager. Unfortunately, I cannot have a dog where I live.
What is your favorite breed of dog(s)? And.....?
I pretty much like all terrier breeds, but more specifically Jack Russell Terriors (my family's dog) and Fox Terriors (grandparents have one). I know they're a hassle sometimes, but I like that playful and energetic mode about them. I also find them to be very good companions. They are very intelligent and if you have the time and patience, are very obedient. And I think they are so cute, they always seem to have a puppy like charm to them the way their expressions are sometimes. When I get a house or apartment of my own, I will definitely be getting either one of the breeds I said.
