What Is Your Perfect Island Paradise

What is your idea of paradise?

Peaceful, adventurous, lots of art/literacy, science, Islam everywhere, financially stable, no poverty, lots of mango milkshake served in gorgeous tumblers (Lol!), moroccan decor, as well as Asian decor, and lots of IKEA furniture. Islamic style courtyard house, lots and lots of goats, lots of candles, incense etc

Most importantly, my family there, and it should be that we die, go to heaven, spend some time chilling, come back to earth, die, go to heaven, spend some time chilling etc etc etc

Oh, and there should be a school which trains ghosts to scare people witless. The good people should be able to become ghosts when they die (refer to above cycle) and scare the horrible people

What is the book "Island of Paradise" about?

I really don't know. Maybe the movie can help. But the more I think about it, I feel it was made-up to give some background to Ken Park’s movie Island of Paradise.I am certainly not much of the help. But I will keep searching and if I ever do stumble upon something, I will edit this answer.

Describe your perfect vacation?

Miami is my dream place so I'd go there, or Hawaii, somewhere really warm and beautiful where I am in touch with nature. I'd prefer to go by myself or with Enrique Iglesias (you did say the perfect vacation, haha), we'd spend the whole time doing crazy stuff (inside and outside the bedroom), we'd go on many adventures, during the weekend we'd volunteer at a children's home, we'd have lots of gigs, host parties by the beach, go on romantic walks at sunset and at night we'd sit by the bonfire by the seashore and he'd pay the guitar and we'd sing the song 'Hero' and make love on the beach. :)
One day, in this life or another life, one day Enrique and I will do all this xD

Things to do in Amelia Island, Fl.?

I'm guessing this is for your honeymoon!! Good for you!

Amelia Island will be a wonderful place to spend your honeymoon, I am sure. It's known for it's romantic getaways--and the perfect weather will make whatever you do like a tropical paradise!

You can ride horses there, kayak, visit the Amelia Island Museum of History which will take you to the "Silk Stocking District" on a walking tour. Fort Clinch State Park is there, which is a Civil War era fort, if you like history. They offer wonderful river cruises up the Amelia river. You can rent a boat or a sailboat, or a Segway through the state and national park there!

Shopping is available, of course, if that's more your idea of fun. There is a shop on Fernandina St. called Twisted Sister--clothes, home decor, and gifts!

Sounds like a lot of fun and a wonderful place to bring a new life together as man and wife!

What is your favorite Hawaiian Island to visit?

Maui No Ka Oi! (maui is the best)

It is a nice balance between the urban oahu and the beautiful but boring Kauai.

It also has neighboring islands that you can travel to for the day: Lanai and Molokai.

It has wonderful snorkling (try po'olenalena beach or honolua bay)

Ideatocracy: How do we create the perfect "Utopia" for humanity?

Already, I find that the idea of a 'utopia' is a failure from the get-go, because it requires that all humans follow a model dictated by a few. We have been trying, and failing, at that model since centuries. It would already be a great start if the democracies we supposedly have were real ones: this requires a voter populace that thinks for themselves, a leadership that isn't corrupted by the money and dictate of 'special interests' (where voters have no say), and a voter populace who knows that their vote and voice matters (so they participate).A good lot of humanity already qualifies for the 'independant thought' part of it, but they feel 'incompatible' with the special-interest-led leadership, and think that their votes 'don't matter'. I think the voter turnout statistics in most countries are a reflection of this. But, unfortunately, in this sort of situation, the most extreme and most corrupted are also the most vociferous.
