What Kind Of Blog Is Mine

Can people find my secondary blogs from my main one in tumblr?

They won't know unless you specifically tell them. Also, to be sure they can't find your Tumblr blog by your email address, make sure you hide your email address in your settings. You can do this by doing the following:

1. Go to your Tumblr settings by clicking the gear button on the top of your Tumblr screen.
2. Click “account” on the left side bar and on the Account screen on the right, make sure the box that says “let people look me up by this address” is unchecked. Click the save button.

Also, make sure your Tumblr isn't connected to your facebook and twitter (if you have a facebook and twitter account) by going to your blog's settings and unchecking those two options.

What kind of blog topics are people really interested in these days?

I love blogs that don't seem like a robot writes them.By now there is hardly anything novel in the blogging niche I am in (I write about personal finance to mainly physicians/high net worth individuals) being a physician myself.Readers can only read the same old information over and over again before they tune out.Although my blog is fairly new (started April 2018) it has gained a lot of traction because I launched my blog with the series, “I made Every Mistake in the Book. “I essentially wrote very personal stuff and highlighted all my mistakes (including a very costly divorce). It was a huge hit and just the first post has gotten 1900+ views since I launched (and the other 4 parts to the series are close behind).I find that if you can open yourself to the internet and talk about your mistakes, you will gain a great following as they can relate. Everyone always brags about the achievements, not so much on the mistakes.I feel a great connection now with my readers and I am sure they feel the same because I wrote about highly personal stuff.Good luck!

What kind of bugs keep biting me in bed?!?

It's bed bugs and you need to take care of the problem immediately otherwise it escalates. I'm afraid the only thing that's really helpful is silicone spray, which bed bug experts (or bed bug exterminators) use - it's harmless to the human being but of course it may irritate you a little.

You can start, if you really don't want to go to a pest-eliminator, by removing the mattress slowly and carefully, vacuum cleaning (with a really powerful vacuum cleaner) every corner of the rooms and every bit of furniture, including cracks on floors and walls.

Then, put every sheet and bed cloth (including your clothes) inside the dryer for one hours. You don't have to wash anything just dry it at really high temperature.

If the problem persists, though, you will have to call the exterminators. Bed bugs are an increasing problem and they are really difficult to eradicate if left untreated.

I am thinking of starting a Quora blog on jazz and blues guitar, technique and theory. How many would welcome such a blog?

If you have an interest in that and think you can make a contribution in that area, I think you should do it. Dont worry about how many people will appreciate your efforts. Everything you do on a Quora blog can be copied to YouTube or some other location. Keep a copy for yourself. It will help you whether or not you have a big following.I started a cooking blog at the suggestion of someone I followed on Quora. I don’t have a big following on the blog, but it doesn’t bother me. Every time someone asks me for a recipe, I just give them a link to my Quora blog. It’s a very convenient place to share what you love.

How do I create my own blog with my writings?

This question has been asked so many times you may wish to look at the Related Questions here. Your first decision is to choose a blog platform. The two primary blog platforms are Blogger and Wordpress. Both have free versions you can begin at. Wordpress has many additional levels based on your aims. I found Blogger very easy to use, but Wordpress has templates that are likewise relatively easy, and instructions to teach you.I’m not sure what to make of the recommendation to go to Medium. Medium is a platform for many voices. When you send people to your blog, they will see your articles or stories or poems or pictures. There is no competition with others. Medium does offer an instant potential audience as they strive to drive traffic to that platform, but I do not understand how it can be called “your blog” unless the definition has changed. If you want to check out a blogger format, here’s where mine has evolved to: Ennyman's TerritoryOnce you start, you will want to learn how to develop a following through other social media platforms. I use Facebook and Twitter primarily. There are other tactics to try as well, but that is for chapter two. Good luck.
